So I got started reading 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey and he started talking about a unique principle he calls the P/PC balance. This is the start of the book and what he is talking about is the ability to get result that you want. The P/PC balance stands for Production and Production Capability. The production represents the end result you have in mind. For business your end result may be to generate 20 leads per day or to make a certain amount of sales. Your production Capability is the means or actions to make it your end result happen, like what action causes you to generate 20 leads per day and what action causes you to make 10 sales per day.

Reading through the book the 7 Habits of Highly Effective people I started to fully understand the P/PC balance concept. It really pertains well for the network marketing industry because of how everyone a huge majority of our industry thinks. A lot of people coming into network marketing are always looking for shortcuts. They want push button this, and instant result that. Truth is they are searching for the P(production) without wanting to put in the PC(production capability). There has to be a balance between the P/PC in order to get the result that you want. If you don't take care of the PC you won't be able to produce the P.

Well in your business you need two things, the first is leads and second is sales. In my business my production capability is Me, without me doing the work of creating content I wouldn't be able to generate leads for my business. I need to work on myself in terms of educating myself consistently, staying healthy to write, and actually doing the work. If i'm not putting out new content daily my business will be lacking production. I am not looking for a shortcut or being lazy, I put in the production capability to cause production for my business This is what I understood more clearly with the 7 Habits of highly effective people. It doesn't need to always be yourself being the PC in fact if you have money you can always outsource your production capability to cause the production you desire.

A lot of people fail in business because they lack the drive or confidence to put in production capability to produce production. I teach a lot of people step by step how to generate leads and make sales for their business but only 1-3% actually put in the work that is required.
