The 10 Commandments of Winners
Our team at ACES Radio Live is dedicated to Helping Build Winners both around town and around the world.
Sandy Greenberg shared this with me a few years ago and I think it's something important enough to share with others. Thank You Sandy!!!
I hope you find it helpful both in life and in building your business.
The 10 Commandments of Winners
- When a winner makes a mistake, he says, "I was wrong." When a loser makes a mistake, he says, "It wasn't my fault."
- A winner credits good luck for winning, even though it isn't good luck. A loser blames bad luck for losing, even though it wasn't bad luck.
- A winner works harder than a loser and has more time. A loser is always too busy to do what is necessary.
- A winner goes through a problem. A loser tries to get around it and never past it.
- A winner shows he's is sorry by making up for it. A loser says, "I'm sorry," then turns around and does the same thing over again~
- A winner knows what to fight for and what to compromise on. A loser compromises on what he shouldn't and fights for what isn't worth fighting about.
- A winner says, "I'm good, but not as good as I ought to be." A loser says, "I'm not as bad as a lot of other people."
- A winner would rather be admired than liked, although he would prefer both. A loser would rather be liked than admired, and even is willing to pay the price of mild contempt for it.
- A winner respects those who are superior to him and tries to learn something from them. A loser resents those who are superior to him and tries to find chinks in their armor.
- A winner feels responsible for more than his job. A loser says, "I only work here."

A WINNER is not made in the arena... they are exposed in the arena only after they have been forged by hours and hours of dedication, discipline, determination and sacrifices fueled by a Burning Desire.

On the other hand ordinary people do what ordinary people ordinarily do... which is to remain within their comfort zone and do nothing... Which reminds me of this timeless quote.
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
- Theodore Roosevelt

Success is a choice - Here's to yours.

Nice to see "me" in most of the "winning" comments. I still have a ways to go on a few of them. I agree with the above comments. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!
