The mindset and  how to manage your mindset and mental chatter  this is what  Jillian was wondering. How to change her beliefs and her mindset because she realized this was what was holding her back in her life and her network marketing business.

Jillian found that her mental chatter was always with her, chattering away, mostly she notice it was negative and she realized it was never going to go away. When Jillian tried to suppress the mental chatter, it  just seemed to come back stronger than ever. Jillian was starting to feel her mental chatter was her enemy. One day she was listening to a speaker, and they were speaking about mind chatter and this person taught personal development said that the mind chatter  doesn’t have to be her enemy, it’s what she puts into her  mind.

Jillian listen and found out if you feed the mind with positive thoughts and plant seeds of positivity then the mind will give you positive ideas. To give Jillian an example of her thoughts and how they take control she had a garden describe to her. Jillian was told that she   toil the soil, she tends it, plant the seeds, care for it, weeds it. Then Jillian goes away and comes back a month later to find the weeds have taken over. She has  a heap of work to do. Jillian was asked what if you   went away for a year, what would your garden be like? Jillian was told to take this analogy in regard to her mind.   This is what had been happening with Jillian’s mind most of her life. Feeding the mind with negative thoughts more than the positive thoughts.

Jillian realized that her mindset was one of the stumbling blocks for her. Discovering this she set out to find ways to help her, and she found answers and solutions came in many forms.

Jillian learned about her mental chatter – how to resolve this?   Learning to filter and cultivate the seeds that go into her mind and having awareness.   Jillian did the relaxation exercise which relaxes the body.

Starting this time from the feet and slowly working up her body. She focused on  each body part and tense and then relax, and all the time slowly breathe deep slow breaths. Until she had gone right through her body slowly relaxing,

She became aware of her breathing slowly in and out, in and out. As she was  breathing slow deep breaths, her stomach was  going out as she breathe in, and in as she breathe out.

As she was  breathing she became aware of her thoughts, she  looked at her thoughts as they drifted across her mind. She thought of  them as clouds as they flow into her mind then out of her mind.  She didn’t stop to analyze them, she  just let them flow in and out. She just observe them. Then she went back to breathing, being aware of her breath as its going in through her nostrils and down through her body.  She watched her breathing as she breathed in and out.

Jillian  noticed that sometimes a thought distracted her and she had been caught up with that thought. Once she realized this had happen,  she was told don’t feel guilty, or get annoyed just let it go, and go back to watching her  breathing again.

Watching  her thoughts as they drifted in and out, and consciously watching them, she found she was doing it with  curiosity love and compassion. Jillian  thought of each thought  as clouds as they floated by on a sunny day.  She didn’t let any of the thoughts distract or carry her away.

Jillian notice that when   she had been angry or she had been worried about something, or felt concerned, she notice those thoughts lost their power through breathing and observing them. Jillian had  become the observer the witness.

Jillian learnt each day to cultivate that witness the awareness.  She became aware of her thoughts and observed them.  She found she didn’t  have to go into a long relaxation every time to do it, just by taking time to  breathe deeply and slowly she became more aware and the  power seemed to go  from the emotions she had been feeling. Jillian found becoming aware of her breathing and just letting the thoughts float away she felt so much more in control.

Jillian found that she wasn’t able to be  aware all day long and she lost her  witness several times a day. She even noticed her first  time of doing the exercise she lost her witness several times. She found having the witness as the same gender as her it was  easier to bring her back.. Jillian found  when she started to feel stress or things started to go wrong  she made an attempt to remember to connect with her witness and breath and let her witness  observe what is happening in her life at that moment.

However the more she did  this, and to start with she only had  tiny successes, she did notice that it did impacted  her life with big results.  Jillian learned to do things unhurriedly not slowly but unhurriedly and she found she  accomplished a lot more in her day.

Another tip that was shared with her  was to imagine that  she was  surrounded in a big golden light, then that light becomes a liquid and its poured into a jug. When she came to do her  tasks  she imagined that golden liquid being  poured over the task in hand. She found  that  she seemed to get the  task done with a lot more ease and calmness,

Jillian was told about The Law Of Increase – and how this works is truly be appreciative and grateful for what  she had in her life, and she found more good things started to appear in her life. When  Jillian focused on what she  really appreciated and was thankful for she made sure she did it  with her  heart and let it be heartfelt gratitude. She then let that heartfelt gratitude overflow from within her to surround her and she  started to see more good things flowing into her life.

Jillian realized that her main  mistake when she first heard about being grateful was to  write out what  she was  grateful for  but she had been  doing it parrot fashion. She hadn’t been  feeling the  heartfelt appreciation and thankfulness when expressing gratitude. Once she started putting the feeling and really coming from the heart, she notice a huge difference in her life.

Jillian was given an  exercise that showed her how to feel that  heartfelt thankfulness and gratitude.  She was told to think back to yesterday as she woke up, what was something that she was  thankful for. Was it that she had a warm comfortable bed, or she  woke up with someone she  loved beside her, or she was  alive to live another day.  She was told to be truly grateful and thankful for whatever it is. Then as she was  going about getting ready for her day, what else was she truly thankful and grateful for, it may be that she had a warm shower, hearing a song she enjoyed on the radio. Or she had  plenty of food to eat. Or it was a beautiful day.

Then she was to think of another task or something that happen that she was  truly grateful for, may be a long time friend called. Or  she finished a project that she had been working on for ages, or someone made a compliment to her.

In her evening  she  was asked what she was thankful and grateful for. Perhaps watching her favourite TV program, or having dinner with her  family. As she went to bed and before she fell asleep she was to think of all the good things that happened throughout the day that she was  truly thankful and grateful for.

Jillian then let that thankfulness and gratitude start from the soles of her feet and flow up  through her body to spill out over and around her.  She felt the emotion of gratitude and thankfulness. On waking the next morning  she took note of her  mental chatter, and  was  grateful and thankful as she started her new day.

Jillian was told having the stories help her  to be aware of being thankful and appreciative. It helped her  to connect to the feeling of gratitude. She was told that this helped her to achieve the sense of sheer gratitude that comes from the heart and spills from within her  to surround and expand to touch other people in her life.

Learning to refocus on the positive things in her life  Jillian notice that it brought miracles into her life that started to happen everyday. Miracles that they were talking about was not that the red sea being parted or the  mountain was moved.   She was told it was about events happening in her life  and the  Universe had stepped in and intervene on her behalf.  She was told not to confuse miracles with coincidences.

It was explained to Jillian that miracles are something that happens every day and are always nice and good things to have happen. Coincidences can be good and not so good things happen.  She was told to think of miracles as all the good things happening in her life  and she found that when she adopted this idea she found many good things happening.

One example she invited a friend to drop by on her way home from the beach. Her friend had two appointments and was not able to do it this time around. The day arrived that her friend was leaving to go home and discovered one of her appointments had been cancelled. She rang Jillian  and said I can call in now, and from that visit so many amazing things happened.

When Jillian heard  about  miracles and coincidences she really realized the significance of it. Several things had happen to her over the last few days, at first she thought they were coincidences, however when she  heard about miracles and coincidences she looked back over the last few days. She  realized that they were miracles  and the energy that came with them was joy and happiness.

Jillian found when  she  focus on something good happening in her life as being a miracle the energy of that feeling really kicks in. You feel the joy and happiness..

When she was asked what house would she  prefer to live in? One of miracles when all good things happen? Or one where coincidences occur, and there are good and not so good coincidences.

Jillian knew which one she would go for. So now miracles happen to her every day. Big and small ones. Significant and not so significant ones, but they still impact her life and she feels the joy and harmony and gratitude of them all.
