The Ultimate Secret to Total Failure in Life and Business

There is a 99% chance you sit with the majority here on Better Networker that searches for and is attracted to content that offers the promise of a "quick fix" or "patch" for a bleeding life or business.

This particular article, however, is going to give you more than that.

I'm going to be offering one of the most primary causes to why most people will NEVER truly succeed or get what they say they really want out of life.

Together, you and I are going to expose and explore this secret.

A secret that has been selfishly hidden from you.

But be warned, you may become angry to find out this secret has been hiding in plain sight, and its devastating power has remained closer to you than breathing.

You may even get angry with ME for bringing it to your attention.

But simply knowing this secret is why I must share it with you.

This secret is a problem cleverly disguised as a solution.

The sooner you become aware of this problem, the sooner you will stop seeing and promoting it as a solution yourself.

The catalyst for our discussion today was this video circulating around the web not too long ago where a known “guru” (I really dislike that word) was passionately proclaiming “the number one CAUSE of failure is self-doubt.”

Although this “guru” seemed to be so proud and so eager to share his revelation, and had a very compelling argument to support it, I felt with all of my being that he was inaccurate.

So I questioned and I thought..  Questioned..  Thought..  Questioned.. Thought..

And this article was born as a result.

Now while many have openly agreed with the bold claim made in this video, what you and I are about to do is prove this guru WRONG.

Are you ready for this?

The problem is...

Education.

“Education?”

Yes.  Education.

“Huh?”

Stay with me and keep reading.  Allow me to make this point clear in our minds.

I promise, this is going to fascinate you.

Is The Problem Really Education?

Well, the kind you find in school is.

The problem with school is that it only teaches you information.

It does not, however, teach you to apply it.

Or worse yet, take action on it.

So in essence, you are not learning.

Learning comes through the sharing and/or application of information.

In school you are only amassing knowledge.

And knowledge is not power.

It cannot be power.

Knowledge must be applied before it becomes power – Just like any other force.

And the force of school applied upon you has one central, yet extremely powerful purpose :

Program you to be a slave for the economic system.

Student - Slave
Worker - Slave
Consumer - Slave

Education is not what happens when you go to school, do everything they tell you, and get
a piece of paper at the end with your name and theirs on it.

Education is derived from the latin word educo.  Which means to educe, to draw out, to develop from within.

And this does NOT happen in school.

Education is what happens when information is taken in, refined by the power of thought, then applied in order to develop yourself or something you are creating.

Going to school has become a "normal" part of life.  Just like work.  Just like credit.  Just like debt.  Just like taxes.  Just like voting for who is going to rule over you.

Look at the typical persons life.  Pretty predictable right?  There is a very serious problem with this.

The fact it is "expected" that all of your friends and neighbors lives consist of school and work should be cause for serious examination.

Who made you believe that in order to be successful, you have to sit in a room from age 5 to 25 and be told stuff by a person whose life in no way resembles the life you desire for yourself?!

Did you know that most super successful people, leaders of industry, and many success thinkers, trainers, and coaches did NOT graduate high school or go to college?

Many people know this, yet most people continue to model their unsuccessful friends and neighbors.  Thereby wasting their one and only life, in, and by going to school.

School promotes obedience to “authority”, where you are told how and what to think & believe, to study only what you have been told, to take tests on what you have been told, to give up your rights once you walk through the doors, and to hope you're given permission to "graduate" so you can repeat this cycle at another school referred to as a "university".

And if you don't follow the "rules", you are punished.

THEN, during your final months or years at this "university" (that's only if you were given permission to attend), you experience anxiety over what you are going to do with your life once they kick you out into the "world".

Once out of college with a special piece of paper in hand, you strive to find a job (80% chance you find one totally unrelated to what you spent years in school for) where you are told how and what to think, what to do and how to do it, give up your rights once you walk through the door, and to be obedient to authority.  Which in this case is your employer.

And again, if you don't follow the rules, you are punished.

From age 25-65, you continue in this cycle.

You are always enticed by a better position with the dangling hope of getting "promoted".

But what does a promotion mean exactly?

It means that you get more money, BUT, you also have to work much more, have much more responsibility, and give up MORE of your rights.

This is not YOUR idea of success is it?

Then at 65 you retire?

They refer to the years that follow as the "golden years".

Tell me, what is so "golden" about spending the entire part of your YOUNG life being taught to work for someone else, working for someone else, then attempting to live life how you "want" now that you are old and out of energy, and have never ever known what it was like to live life how you want.  But rather, have always lived life how someone ELSE wanted you to, or gave you permission to - family, friends, neighbors, teachers, employers, etc.

So for 65 years you are a slave to school and work, and HOPE to "retire" rich.

Well, lemme tell you, this fantasy ending is just that; a fantasy.

Each year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (among other groups) completes a 40 year study where they follow 100 college graduates from age 25 to 65.

Do you know how many of those college graduates are wealthy by the time they are 65?

ONE.

Yep, one.

Do you know how many are financially independent?

FOUR.

Yep, four.

The rest, at age 65 mind you, are either dead, dead broke, or still working.

65 and broke or still working???

Let us curse the day!

What do you think these numbers are going to look like by the time you are 65?

What do you think these numbers are going to look like next year?

I have personally interviewed many of the “1's” who were wealthy by 65, and they whole-heartedly believe they would have achieved their level of gain, with OR without a college diploma.  Some have even confessed they would have been better off without all those years in school.

As you have already gathered on your own, a college diploma only guarantees wasted time and attention, wasted money and effort, and anxious uncertainty.

Is this what you envisioned your life to be when you were a child?

Did you ever even consider what was happening to you when your parents forced you to go to school as a child?

What did you dream about as a child?

What did you dream about doing - becoming?

Did it include being a slave to school?

Did it include being a slave to a job?

Did it include giving up your rights?

Did it include being fearful of the consequences if you broke the so-called rules?

And what about when you are at school or work during the week?

Aren't most people looking forward to the end of each day so they can rush home in slow moving traffic to watch their favorite team or show on the idiot box (a.k.a. television), go out and get high or drunk, or entertain themselves to escape the painful reality of school and work?

School and work numbs your ability and capacity to create by CONFORMING you.

But YOU are a creator.

And to create, you must do 2 things:

1. THINK of what you want to create
2. ACT immediately on the thought of what you want

School teaches neither one.  But discourages both.

It only teaches you to take in information.

Taking in information does not require you to THINK.

Taking in information does not require you to ACT.

Deciding what you want first, will motivate and allow you to SEEK out information that is relevant to what you want, and information that you can ACT on in relation to what you want.

More than likely, you or others you know have been programmed by the school system to believe that you decide what you want to do AFTER you have been taught something.

But really, what sense does this make?

Doesn't it make more sense to decide what you want FIRST, then gather information and engage in activities that are going to help you get it?

Going to school as a child, teen, and adult will only force you to choose a career or life path that relates to what you have been programmed to think, believe, and focus on in school.

Really, how can you do anything else?

If your computer has been programmed with Windows, how can it function like a Mac?  It cant.  And it wont.  No matter what you do.

We are just like computers in that we operate from our programming.

So program yourself AFTER you decide what you want.

If you decide you want to be a dancer, what the hell is the point in going to law school?

Do you see where I'm going with this?

THE REVELATION

The number one cause of failure in ANY area of life or business can be traced back to a lack of correct programming.

Many people are successful in school, but fail miserably in their life and business.

But weren't you successful in school so you could be successful in life and business?

Of course!

So why are most failing in life and business?

Because in order to succeed in school, you simply need to pass tests.

And in order to pass tests, you do exactly what the teachers tell you to do.  Which is pay attention to what they say, study what they tell you, and complete the assignments they give you.  In effect, they PROGRAM you.

Then you go off to work at a job.

And in order to succeed at your job, you do exactly what your employers tell you to do.  Which is pay attention to what they say, study what they tell you, and complete the assignments they give you.

People only doubt themselves and fail in areas they have not been programmed in.

What do you expect from a programmed slave who knows only obedience to the rules they have been conditioned with?

A computer cannot do what it has not been programmed to do.

OR given PERMISSION to do.

You can yell and scream at a computer all you want, but it will not do anything beyond what it has been programmed to do.

As with humans.

If you want humans to do something beyond what they have always done or are currently
doing, you must provide them with the necessary programming.

You've graduated college, you've read Think & Grow Rich, you read success articles, you watch success videos,  you've bought into all the "guru" courses, yet you still don't have the life or business you want.

Why not?

Because for all these years during school and work, you've been taking in information that has no actual relevance to what you truly want.  It has not been information that you can directly apply to your life.  It has been information that you have not been able to take real action on.

This has become a habitual program for you.  And you've taken this habit of not applying information you're taking in and not taking action on into your new life and new business.

Can you see the impact this programming has had on you?

Can you see the impact this programming has had on the people you know and trust?

Just because you now have a life outside of school and work and decided to start a home business, does not mean this program has somehow changed on its own.

Now I may have seemed to go off on a rant regarding this topic of school, but the point I'm trying to make should be apparent to you by now..

The “Ultimate Secret For Total Failure In Life And Business”, is to build the habit of taking in information that you cannot apply, will not apply, or do not apply.

No matter how bad you want to succeed in your life or business, you will not be able to if you are ruled by this habit.

This habit will cause you to put your attention on information that has no relevant or applicable value to what you truly want out of life or for your business.

It will cause you to take in information that DOES have relevant and applicable value to what you truly want, however, you will go watch tv, entertain yourself, or go do everything else BUT immediately use it to get what you want.

It will cause you to wait for permission from some outside source before you take the required action necessary to experience the success you desire.

“So what about this claim regarding self-doubt?”

Self-doubt can actually be classified as failure on its own.

But the number one CAUSE of failure cannot be self-doubt.

Self-doubt is nothing more than an EFFECT of a multitude of CAUSES.

And we have uncovered one of the most effective, yet unknown causes that LEADS to self-doubt.

School teaches you to gather and store information and not apply it until the "right time", which comes in the form of tests. Then in your life and business, you find yourself gathering and storing piles of useful information, then waiting to apply it at the "right time" which never really comes because the only right time to take action on valuable information is RIGHT now.

Also since all that seems required to be successful in school is the gathering of information, school programs unsuspecting people to believe that by simply acquiring information, they will automatically be successful in life and business.  They even come to feel entitled to success because of what they “know”, and get angry and blame others for not giving it to them!

Get In The Habit Of Getting What You Want

Ask yourself these simple questions to assess how action-based you really are in getting what you want:

1. Do I read an article like this, then go on to read another, rather than immediately take some sort of action on 1 or more of the ideas I just learned?

2. When I have an "ah-ha" moment do I go put my attention on something totally unrelated, or do I allow these revelations to take me, in that very moment, in a whole new direction towards getting what I want?

3. Do I think about and talk about what I want, then when someone or something presents information that will help me get it, do I procrastinate on taking action or come up with all the reasons why I "can't" take action right now?

Its not your fault that you are suffering the consequences of this habit, but it is your responsibility to acknowledge that it is YOUR habit and you can actually do something about it.

As you go about your routine, see if you can identify how much of a strangle-hold this habit has on you and your choices.

Since our awareness must increase before our capacity to do more can increase, it is my sincere hope that I have helped you to increase YOUR awareness and have enabled you to start now to replace the habit we've discussed with the habit of deciding what you want FIRST, seeking only information related to what you want, and taking immediate action on that information.

Nothing significant is going to happen in your life without this type of action.

Charles

P.S. You may have heard this 1 time, you may have heard this 10,000 times, but it really is all up to you to be, have, and do whatever it is you want.  Stop waiting for permission.  You, your family, your friends, and the world is counting on you.
