What is our Personal Value based on?

Read More: Personal Development
Let's avoid basing our value as a person on "how much we may happen to know", which seems to be a disease in our corporate and educational societies, making for many pointless power-struggles... I've been accused several times of being "the biggest anti-intellectual ever met" by several acquaintances. I just reply that to me the intellect should serve the heart and that egocentric, self-aggrandizing knowledge has ZERO value without purpose and service to humanity (primarily Tibetan philosophy). How interesting that new research shows there to be Gray Matter, (that's Brain Cells) around the physical heart. (I know I'll need to re-check my sources on that ... heard it on NPR?) - David
