What Was The Best Thing That Happened To You Today?
What Was The Best Thing That Happened To You Today?
What did you think first? How did you feel? What did you start thinking?
How would you feel about me asking this question? Would you feel good or special? Would you be eager to tell me what the best thing that happened to you?
Imagine if you asked this question What’s the Best Thing That Happened To You Today or Yesterday?- to your Network Marketing or MLM downline everyday. They would start looking for the best thing that had happened to them. How about their confidence and their feeling of empowerment in being able to see good aspects in their business. Instead of focusing on the negative aspects.
What if one of your downline had a problem or facing some difficulties and they needed help. What if you asked questions that were positive to help them find solutions. As well as building a relationship. Here are some other good questions that were shared with me, looking for a positive solution.
What’s working?
Why is it working?
What about it, is working?
What elements are going to make it work?
If you are trying to find a solution here are some other questions
What would work ideally?
What would it be like ideally?
What’s not yet working right?
What’s yet not quite right?
What resources can I find to make it right?
Being in Network Marketing or MLM we all at sometime or other run into difficulties. Many times we look to our uplines or sponsors to help us, because we feel they will have the answers.
I have known some uplines or sponsors to say to some of their downline that their Why is not big enough or their Belief is not strong enough. They may or may not mean it, but they disempowered the person, they gave that person a feeling of unworthiness.
If you used the questions
What’s working?
Why is it working?
What about it, is working?
What elements are going to make it work?
Plus the others that were shared with you early on. What would work ideally? What would it be like ideally? What’s not yet working right? What’s yet not quite right? What resources can I find to make it right?
What would these questions be like to your person that you are helping? How would they feel? Yes, they would have to think it through, but with positive questions you are building on a positive platform. As you ask each question you are building more and more on that positive platform, and it is expanding so that a solution will emerge.
May be not straight away, but through some resource, a comment in a forum, or email, leading you to a website that you find the answer you are looking for. Sometimes the answers are disguised, or hidden but they are there, if you are looking. If you are in a positive frame of mind they are usually a lot easier to spot.
You can also ask yourself this question What’s the best thing that happened to me today? With questions like:
What’s right about it?
What can I learn about this?
What is the message?
What’s the value for me?
I actually took these questions and used them in a negative experience I had. Looking at that negative experience and asking the questions, What can I learn about this? What is the message? What’s the value for me in this?
I actually found a positive solution that I am now able to take into my work and start using and implementing in future situations.
I improved my state of mind, I found my energy rising and I felt positive. If I had continued to dwell on the negative situation, I would have felt more drained, more and more negative things would have happened and I would have ended up feeling really depressed.
The example I shared actually did happen to me, and I did learn some valuable lessons out of it. Which in turn were positive, the solution I have discovered I am implementing it in future situations.
I also found that when I put a question out in regarding what I wanted to do with regard of building my Network Marketing business. I found the answers came very quickly and in ways I least expected. Some came disguised, and I would have missed them if a word or two hadn’t caught my interest.
The valuable lesson I learnt here is be positive and open to what comes your way. The saying when the student is ready the teacher will appear, I have found to be very true.
Asing this question not only applies to network marketers but to all relationships, especially your children, spouse and family. Imagine the change in relationships you will have when you ask What Is The Best Thing That Happened To You Today?
