Prospecting Can Anyone do this MLM Business Opportunity Without Marketing?

Another misleading mlm statement when prospecting “Anyone can do this”. In reality not everyone can do this until they learn the how-to when it comes to marketing and generating qualified opportunity leads. Finding a good qualified lead is the key to building your home based business and when I say find qualified leads I mean the ones you generate yourself not the ones you buy from a lead broker. Lead brokers sell the same beat up lead to at least 5 other reps and by the time you call them they are already fed up with calls and emails that they can’t take anymore.
Good qualified opportunity leads are the ones you generate; the ones that are expecting a phone call from you because they have a problem and you have the solution. But you may think the solution is your opportunity right away. In fact that should not be what the conversation should be about. The first conversation should be about listening to what they have to say; their needs, their problems. What do they like, what do they not like about certain things.
Like Dani Johnson would say, “You have to F.O.R.M your prospects” when talking to them. Ask them about Family, Occupation, Recreation then send the Message. So now that you know before you can start making money online with your new home based business you should at least have some sales and marketing strategies in place for your business. Equip yourself with that knowledge, then you can tell your prospect that anyone can do this because now you have more than a business to bring to the table. Now you have marketing knowledge which is the vehicle that moves that business and that’s very attractive when prospecting. Tread carefully, as Franklin says...!
My first thought was "what do we mean by marketing?"
Let me share with you a snippet from my Second Income Network Marketing Manifesto & Workbook, which is the collation of some 18 months of research...
Obstacle #3 of the 12 obstacles to success I discovered is falling for the lies & myths out there. Ann Sieg did a wonderful job of highlighting 7 of these - there are more, I believe. But the lie that any one can do MLM is one Ann rounded on very quickly. I wonder if the following feels familiar to any of you?
My first thought with this lie is “what does this actually mean?” – what is meant by ‘do this’? Surely the only person who can say whether they’ve been successful is the individual, the person looking, like you, to use MLM to help them get a better outcome in the future. When my wife and I started out we grabbed hold of this lie strongly – it was what we wanted to hear in our hour of desperation – it almost sent us mad.
So you can see how easy we might grab hold of and hang on to these lies.
We need to tread carefully, with our eyes wide open, which is why I really appreciate people like Franklin getting this stuff out there.
