Prospects Have Made their Mind up about you in the 1st 30 Seconds.

So either you are toast in those 1st 30 seconds or you have created a good prospect.

Well if this is True,  Would it be ok with you if  you  learn what to say in the 1st 30 seconds?

If some one asks you what do you do for a living?

Here is a perfect opportunity to create a good or bad prospect on what you say in the 1st 30 seconds.

I can not teach you all this in one letter the whys and the subconscious reasoning but I will give a illistration

So someone says What do you do for a  Living? (how do you get someone to ask that question?  Ask them it 1st)

You Say:

I Teach people how to fire their  boss then hop on a jet and go to Tahiti and sip on umberlla drinks all day.

They Say:

Tell me more?

You say:

I got a 2 minute story May make you alot of money might not?  You want to hear it?

(What dummy would say no they would have to be completely nuts)

They say: (if they say no Great REjection free and you do not have to waste your time)

Sure

You Say:

Well a Friend of mine asked me If they could teach me how to Fire my boss and never have to get up at 6 in the morning in the cold snow and Rain and go to work again would that be alright with me?

  I Thought someone has to pay the Bills Electric Heat Car Payment house payment.  Love to Fire my Boss and Never go to work again.  But How could I pay all those Bills?

Then my Friend Said:   How much do you need a month to take care of your Bills

I said about 3500 a month

There is a really Great Company that has some really cool products That people are buying all the time.  You know they have a energy drink with only 9 calories that is good for you and about the 3rd of the price of Red Bull That leaves you feeling great with out a Crash.  And you know how everyone is trying to lose an extra 15 pounds?  Well they have some Really tasty cookies to help them so their cloths are loose.  And you know how everyone is trying to feel and look young they have some products that make people feel 16 again. And they have some cream that makes women with old looking skin look 20 years younger.   Well if you can get 150 customers This company will pay you 4000.00 a month would that be alright with you?

Sure But I do not know how to Get 150 customers I said.

He said well you do not have to do it all Yourself  you get Suzy and LInda and they can get the rest.  You do not have to get them all.

Well I got to thinking when I started my New Job I had to learn some skills that took about a month to learn.  When I learned email it seemed really hard the 1st week.  And when I learned to change a Diaper that took a little time to get it just right.

But I learned that too.  I guess I could learn some skills.

Besides what would be easier?

Getting up at 6 in the morning shoveling snow waking up the Babies getting them ready taking them to day care and doing the samething over again the next day for the Rest of my life and end up Dead or Dead Broke by the time I am 65.  Or Learning a Proven System to get 150 customers  and Retiring on Tahiti in 2 years.

Now Most People I tell this two Minute Story to Get so excited they Join me right away.  And start Learning the skills.  And Start making money.  Some Do not they would Rather end up Dead or Dead Broke by the time they are 65.  Now give them Your Business Card.( you can change this story to fit your companies products and Comp Plan)

This is so true!.  It applies not only your business but in life in general.  What you say is important but before you even get there it's also about your appearance and the confidence that emminates from you before you even open your mouth.

I like how you opened with 'create a good prospect', where you may not have considerd someone a prospect to begin with. But in everyday life there are prospects all around us while we are so wrapped up in our thoughts. Just taking the time to open up, and engage someone is the fist step. And then do as you say, create curiosity, social leveredge, and ask questions!
