Retirement Hopes

Hello well I am soon to be 50 years old, and know
that social security will not be much help by the
time I am of retirement age. I am wondering if my
present endeavors in life will provide me the ever
lasting income that I need to retire. I don't have
want to worry about money when I do decide that I am
tired of working. Will what I do today be good
enough to provide for me and my family the rest
of there lives. I want to know that I have provided
for them because I know that if something happened
to me my family would not be able to continue to do
the things I am doing to make the living we are used to.

I know without a doubt that the company that I am with
at the present time provides me with these benifits. The
pay plan can be passed on to my children after I have
served my life here on earth. I will not have to worry
about my wife having trouble paying the bills to live
the lifestyle she is acustomed to.

Lets be honest. I think that is what we all want out of
this business an income that you can build to a point
that you are comfortable with and then enjoy your life
without worrying about whether you are going to find
that new recruit or two this month. I beleive that if
you build your business right once you shouldn't have
to ever do it again. I know I have built it three times
and each time it has back fired on me. I know with all
my heart that this is the right company for me.

In looking for a great company the company must have the
5 pillars of success built into it. For those of you that
don't know the 5 pillars here is a brief example:

1. Company Management
   If you read the Policies and Proceedures you will find out
   very quickly if it has good ethics. See what the termination
   policies are. If it says at will or a renewable yearly
   contract I would be concerned. That is a good way for the 
   company to say you have made too much money and they don't
   want you in the company and you have worked a year for nothing.

2. Timing in the company and timing in the industry

3. Products
   Should have a product that people are using no need to
   reinvent the wheel. Market a product that people are already
   buying and using.

4. Compensatioon Plan
   The company should pay the part-timer as well as the full-time
   person with the same compensation in mind. They should
   understand that 96% of the people in the company will be part-
   timers.

5. Proven Duplicatible System
   Can the new person do what you are doing? Do they offer free
   training for the new people? Do they have someone that you can
   call 7 days a week. That is a duplicatable system.

I hope this answered some of your retirement questions. Every one wants
to own his life but we all need the training to get to where we want to
be in life. If you should have any question feel free to ask me. I enjoy

That's the real deal

Thanks James, for a heart felt post.  I sincerely believe in what I am doing and helping someone else along the way is certainly a bonus.  I have come to realize how important the five pillars are and I know that the path that I have chosen is one filled with likeminded individuals who want to buy back the rest of their lives.

Hi there,

I really liked your post here and it makes so much sense.

Regardless of what business we are in, or company that we represent, I have been studying and working on Attraction marketing and automated lead generation.

I never was one to be pitching anything until I determined if I was actually working with an interested friend or just a stranger with no similar thinking or goals, and definitely dislike being a pest in any way, at any time.

Many of my downline have fallen by the wayside, mostly because I did not sort out the dreamers from the doers and it is not my nature to convince them that they need to take action to improve their own lifestyles. 

Unfortunately, many improper Network Marketing techniques have made it too much of an uphill battle for anyone to get their new business opportunities off the ground.  We have heard the term ‘Dream Stealers’ almost too much.  My opinion is that no one can steal something you never really had in the first place.  Let’s say your biggest ‘material’ dream is to own, drive, and afford the gas to operate a Luxury SUV. 

When you approach Uncle Bob and pitch your new business opportunity to him and he replies with “Oh Ha, Ha, Another one of those pyramid schemes and get rich quick scams!  I know somebody once that failed miserably in Amway! No thanks. Good luck to you and let me know how well you are doing in a few months and I Might think about it then.”  They say anything to send you away because they are not hungry and you probably just offered them a sip of water from a fire hose because your excitement and your basic training suggested that you contact everyone you know and anyone you don’t know in a 3 foot radius of you.  I could go on and on about how broken that system has been for a very long time, and that, in itself is what makes presentations of business opportunities very unsuccessful.  I will go there another time if YOU are Hungry enough for it too.

Now who is responsible for your dream going up in smoke and your damaged ego?

How quickly will you  justify that it was a silly decision to start something that you had no experience in, and just abruptly stop pitching your biz after your first week?

You KILLED your own Dream(s).  Nobody STOLE It!  Uncle Bob did not appear like a thief in the night and hotwire your new Pearl White Hummer.   You chose to remain a loser like Uncle Bob and make it impossible for you to ever get that Dream Car by working for someone else for the next 20 years and watch your 401-k dwindle down to nothing Only you have total control of what YOU choose to think and decide.  Personal development helps you build the mind set to take better control of making better decisions for your self and others every day.

Now I am having hungry, self-motivated people contacting me, and We are even attracting people that have already developed large downlines and are seeking a way to create amazing growth for their whole teams by using attraction instead of using management, and coaxing, and dragging, and coercing them to expensive events all over the country.

My opinion is that event attendance is more like a proof of loyalty to your upline than it is a tool for individual growth.  With all the awesome WEB 2.0 Technology and tools to communicate online, It does not make sense to me to Fly to California or anywhere in the country, when a camera and a microphone and GREAT content will motivate me today and any day that I want to just click play for review and refreshing my beliefs.

I have a couple additional ‘pillars’ in my beliefs that I would be happy to share if you have any interest.  My time is valuable and that is the main reason that I won’t try to sell anyone on looking at some awesome options that I personally think are truly golden.

We can never learn too much or too fast on our journeys of success.

I was listening on a Teleseminar with Bob Proctor (from the Movie “THE SECRET”) a week ago and he said something that made total sense to me.  Think about how people tell us to read a book over and over or listen to an audio or watch a video several times. We know that the Mother of all Skills and Success is Repetition.

Now I understand why that is, and Bob explained it so simply.  When we read, hear, or watch information that we really like to dwell on, we tend to hear one sentence that strikes a certain chord and we go off on a little thought trip.  As he is offering advice, he may say some other very important and enlightening STUFF and we miss it until we return from our little thought trip and pick back up where “we left off”.  Then the next time you red or hear the same material you are a bit surprised how that comment or idea could have escaped you.

There is another Awesome reason why this phenomenon occurs.  As your skill set and experience grows and develops, you are able to digest this information from a different level of awareness. Now you are seeing it from a hind sight point of view in addition to how you saw it using foresight earlier on.  It reminds me of the quote. “When the Student is ready to learn, the Teacher will appear”

This applies to reading too.  I find myself at the bottom of the page sometimes and realize I was thinking about similar things but the words I had read never stuck in my mind.  It is also like driving to the store and half way there you realize that you never even remembered anything about several of the roads you just had driven over.

Robert Kiyosaki points out that the INDUSTRIAL AGE is way past it’s prime and almost dead now, here in the United States.  He says it is time to wake up and realize that we have been totally immersed in the INFORMATION AGE for over a decade.  Too many Network Marketing Businesses were too busy duplicating techniques that didn’t even work all that well in the 80’s and the Internet grew by leaps and bounds.  That is why Robert endorses network marketing so strongly now.

He has made very accurate predictions about this economic downturn and feels very strongly that more millionaires will be made during this DEPRESSION in the next decade that were made in the past 50 years or longer.

Now it is our duty to inform every one in this industry how this tool can be used effectively and correctly.

Once everyone comes to the realization that there is enough ABUNDANCE of Everything out there and more than plenty to go around when it is EARNED, and not TAKEN, then habits and sins like GREED and GLUTTONY and PRIDE and Selfishness will soon disappear and we can all truly get along.

There is no better season than right now to spark that candle of hope and help and see how huge a fire we can fuel, from caring, hope and sharing.

We are all interested in building a secure business. There are a lot of great products out there, but bottom line, does the company support the distributors, and can you succeed long term without a 5-pillar company.
