Serious MLMers...Study, Take Action and Don't Quit!!!

Read More: Discipline | Mindset | Personal DevelopmentThe lesson that I want you to remember for today and the rest of your life is- "If you want to succeed in Network Marketing, or ANYTHING in life, you have to study, take action and don't quit!!!"
Think about it. It sounds so simple right? It's just common sense. But why is it so hard for people to do...including myself up until a few years ago.
This applies to EVERYTHING in life, not just business. For example, learning how to play an instrument, learning a new sport or hobby, learning a new language, learning how to cook, you get the idea.
STUDY- Seek out information and study it. I'm talking about books, courses, cd's, videos/dvd's, articles, having mentors, internet research etc. There's plenty of free stuff out there, but sometimes you need to spend money and invest in yourself. Either way, DO IT!
TAKE ACTION- This step is probably the hardest for most people, but this is the step that makes you the money!!! After you study, you MUST take action! This could mean doing things like- contacting people (either in person, by phone or by email) about your business, following up with people, learning and doing Internet Marketing techniques etc.
For example, learning how to write a Craigslist ad is one thing. Actually writing it and posting it on Craigslist is taking action!
DON'T QUIT!- This is super-important too. You must be persistent, keep going! Keep studying and taking action. Be patient too, success may take time. Don't let negative people get to you. I call them dream stealers. The reason most people fail in Network Marketing and in life is because they quit...so don't quit!

Funny to think it but 19 years later, I can look back and say it was all worth it! How long have you been at it Brad?

I like this, I find that at first when I started out in Network Marketing I would read, read, read, read ,read and did I mention read?
I was learning a TON of information, but I wasn't taking ACTION on this newfound knowledge. Needless to say, I didn't see results.
Once I started to take action and actually apply what I was learning, I started to see results. It's funny how we seem to be so scared of taking action, but the only was to get ahead and do something different is to step out of our comfort zone. Once you do that, it definitely makes a huge difference.
I find this true in life as well as Network Marketing, think about all the interesting people you get to meet by just being out there and taking action to meet them. I wouldn't have half of the friends I have now if I was shy and scared to meet people.
In Network Marketing, get on the phone! It's not life or death, your one prospect may seem like he or she is going to make or break your career but it really doesn't, they're a real person just like you. Get to know them, share the knowledge that you have learned with them and just be a genuine person. If they aren't interested, they aren't interested. It's life, just remember. There is an Abundance of everything in this Universe and you can have anything you want if you just take action and receive your desires.
