Should you brand yourself as an MLM expert?

Should you brand yourself as being an MLM expert in the industry? Please understand that this is strictly my opinion. Branding yourself is a good thing, but many have taken it to the point of out right lying. Here's what I mean, I'll come to an MLM Lead generting site or downline builder etc.. and on the front page will be a badly done youtuebe video of someone one who is going to teach me how to make a lot money and build a big ole downline in no time at all, when they have not done it yet.

Branding yourself as a Leader in the MLM indusrty, in my opinion does not mean you have to pretend that you know it all or that you are a guru. I say let the gurus do that for you.

If you are going to place a video of your self on a squeeze page, or write about your self on your website, do not make claims you can't back up. Now there's nothing wrong with saying things like "this system has helped me", or "We have access to the best MLM trainiers" etc. but for a person to say that they will personally teach, or train etc.. when they have not build a downline of more than 10 people or haven't made more than $50 in MLM is probably not a good thing.

I for one use industry experts credibilitly to build. For example I use James Grandstaff's squeeze page system. and Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring. People know James and Mike Dillard as an experts.

Again these were just my opinions, but the bottom line is, you will scare prospects off if you pretend a little too much in branding your self as an MLM Expert.
