Prospect Guy and Fly Fishing Guy are the same guy.

This is one strategy out of about 50 or so that are used frequently through the social networking sites to persuade people to contact themselves, without appearing pushy.

They can also find out what they're doing wrong directly from the feedback they get from their 'mutual' friend.
