Some of my personal success tools - Parts 2-4
Part 2: WHAT are your lifetime goals?
Think BIG.
Write your eulogy. Decide what kinds of things and facts you would want stated at your funeral!
Choose the right ladder.
Choose your expertise.
The world is built on ideas.
One decision will shape your future forever. Ever watch the Butterfly Effect?
Part 3: HOW will you get it?
Nothing happens unless you make it happen.
Ask yourself:
What is it costing you NOT to take action?
What is the first step you need to take to MAKE it happen?
"The greatest mistake someone can make is doing nothing." ~ John C. Maxwell
"Nothing would be done at all if a man waited until he could do it so well that no one could find fault with it." ~ Cardinal Newman
Part 4: WHEN do you need it by?
Map out your execution plan. Assign deadlines and break down your goals into realistic action steps.
"By the yard it's hard, but by the inch it's a cinch."
On a sheet of paper, write down your 5 year goals (at least 3). Then beneath that, write down your 3 year goals. Under that, write down your 1 year goals.
And lastly, write down your quarterly goals. I know this may sound elementary and silly, but take the time to do it. And do it right away. Just do it. Use this as your map toward achieving everything you dream about!

Your Article
Hi Tina!
Sounds like Personal Development is "your item."
I like the thought of Goals (Long term) sub-goals (short term).
Not taking action is the biggest overt of omission that one could do to oneself.
Not moving forward. All the justifications one puts in place not to do something, takes one
to the place called a fair life, and doesn't provide one with a great or super life.
The plan and consistent action is the way.
Your right Tina.

Thanks for your comments!
Hi Dan,
When you say "your item" do you mean my network marketing business? I actually, am not involved in any right now, but I do have an extensive background in psychology (bachelors and masters). I also read a lot and study dead millionaires :)
The steps I listed above were actually things I've gathered from seminars and books, which have worked well for me.
There's always so much talk about planning and goal-setting, that most people probably don't even want to read anymore about these subjects... It seems everyone knows that these are important basics to practice, but yet a lot of people don't actually take the time to really sit down and think about it, let alone write these things down.
Thanks again, for your comments and time. Much appreciated!
Stick to the your written word.
Goals that are written down have more value. In my case, I have notebooks and notebooks of my daily business activities. I first write my daily goals at the top of the page along with the list of things I hope to accomplish. When all the goals are met, I then write down new goals for the following day and so on and so on. If that goal is not accomplished it carries over to the next day.
Focus on achieving each goal and you will become a MONSTER in the industry.
