I have found that in my own personal experience that most people tend to over answer their prospects, by giving them all the information that they want. For example, a prospect wants to know more about the company and you might tell them everything about why the company is good, why it has the best product, the best compensation plan and all those stuff to CONVINCE them to join you. In this case, the woman who reveals everything isn't as appealing as the one before as there is nothing else to desire.

However, you are losing one crucial point in doing that. You are losing your power in this conversation. When I talk about power, it is about authority and leading the conversation. You want to portray yourself as a leader in the eyes of a prospect and not someone who is desperate. The more information you give and attempt to convince them, the more you are going to seem desperate to them and this eventually leads them to giving you the big word "NO".

The best way to tackle this situation is to ask your prospect questions instead - If they ask you a question, you could always return them back with a question. The power of questions is that it allows them to talk and you also hold your power as they will feel that you are LISTENING to them. This is one of the best tips for network marketing, so be sure to NEVER reveal everything to your prospects unless you are prepared to lose them.

There is nothing more that people dislike than having something being taken away from them. This can be done in two ways when you are trying to convert a prospect into joining your primary business. The first is giving them a time constraint, and the next is the concept of scarcity. In using the take-away, you can mention that you only have time to work with a couple of people who are really serious and you are not sure if you have the time to work with them.
