No such thing as "no-sale"
In the film, The Boiler Room, Ben Affleck’s character explains one of the great secrets of successful sales professionals:
“And there is no such thing as a no-sale call. A sale is made on every call you make. Either you sell the client some stock or he sells you a reason he can’t. Either way a sale is made, the only question is who is gonna close? You or him?”
Earlier this weekend, someone asked me how I was able to build a sales and marketing team of more than 358,000 men and women in one company, 18,000 in another, and 24,400 in the third. “I just can’t seem to find that many sales people, period,” they noted.
“Someone’s always selling something,” I replied, “We live in a world of natural-born sales people.” And I meant it. When I promote my business, I don’t take a typical network marketing approach, because I don’t market typical network marketing products.
