Highlights From Jordan Adler At The MLM Cold Market Mastermind

If you don't know who Jordan Adler is he is one of the top leaders in Send Out Cards and author of Beach Money. I am not a member of Send Out Cards, but I believe that you can gain knowledge and inspiration from leaders in any company. And in today's day and age we have become a lot more open with each other regardless of the company we are part of. When we stop competing and start believing we can be a great inspiration to others then we get to see many great things happen.
We are now just past a week out from the end of The MLM Cold Market Mastermind and I am still sifting through the recordings and notes and learning and sharing from what I got from it. And I cannot encourage enough how important it is to attend events regularly because we can learn from each other better sometimes face to face.
I will not be able to give you word for word what Jordan Adler shared but these are the points that stuck out and I believe will be valuable to you.
Create An Atmosphere Of Continued Steady Growth
Think more about creating the strength of the oak tree and put down roots that will not be shaken. Many times people build really fast and wide, but they do nothing to create that strength. Thinking like that oak that puts down a huge tap root. That tree will not be easily shaken. It is important to create that strength and balance.
Jordan talked about the power of 1 and multiplication in a group. If everyone just gets one more. That seems doable. Then when you start to see that duplicate in the group it creates huge numbers in your organization. It may be that you will be doing it mostly alone at first, but you are looking for leaders. And if you continue that process there will be leaders you don't know doing it for their own reasons not yours!
Understand That Your Networking Efforts Are A Part-Time Effort
The way that network marketing works is it is a lot of people doing a little bit. And over time that turns into the big dollars that everyone wants. There is no flash in the pan growth that can be sustained over time. You do a little bit and teach others to do a little bit.
An Example From My Life
When I was in my first company we attended a morning call that I grew to dread. It wasn't that I couldn't produce because early on I learned to do that. But when I had a week that was not good, I couldn't fudge the numbers, (nor would I want to). And this leader was not kind when we had those weeks or months when numbers were down. It was all about the numbers. I grew to understand it is about consistency, but it is not really about my own numbers. You see I could produce, but many of my team did not have that same skill. It would be better to find a way to share how they can get 1-3 a month rather than 20-30 a month. Getting the large numbers doesn't allow you to develop those people and it is not sustainable or duplicatable. Most are going to be intimidated. I hope that this brings you hope!
