Network Marketing is About Retailing AND Recruiting

...Recruiting AND retailing!  It's not about merely doing one OR the other...it's about doing both.

All too often I meet people and when I introduce them to or even mention anything about either the industry I am a part of or the primary company that my team and I are using as a vehicle to reach our financial goals in life and they say to me, "Well, I'm not much of a sales person" or "I suck at sales".

But what they forget is the fact that in most cases, I never came to them trying to sell them a product or a service and if I didn't hard-sell to them, then 9 times out of 10, they won't have to hard-sell to anyone else.  But people seem to automatically equate Network Marketing with sales, ONLY and forget the part about looking for others who desire to make a small, part-time extra income or make a substantial, full-time type of income.

In our industry, there are two major things that we do to generate income and those are Retailing and Recruiting.  It's not retail-only nor is it recruit-only...it's a matter of doing both but learning when to do one or the other.

The Retail Side doesn't have to be about standing in the mall waiting around and stopping every person who passes you by nor does the Recruiting Side have to be about standing outside of a liquor store or in an alley with your trunk open full of products and you going, "Psst!  Hey...wanna buy some vitamins?  Top of the line stuff...fresh off the truck!"

There is a right way to go about both - a way that is non-intrusive to those you approach...normal!

So always remember that in your business that your "job" is to talk to people and find out if there is a need that could possibly be filled with whatever you have to offer and this could mean the product/service you offer OR...the opportunity to create an income or even wealth.
