What's Really Working In Network Marketing?

So what's the truth folks?

First notice there is no BIG RED EASY BUTTON.

Sorry.

This is from 2008 and still quite accurate I'm told.

Are you using Web 2.0?

Are you using blogs?

Are you using Upline or company Co-ops ?

Are you using Direct Mail ?

Are you using PPC ?

Are you using SEO ?

Are you using Print Ads ?

Are you using Company/ System sites ?

Are you using Custom Web Site ?

Are you using Forums and Social Networks ?

Are you purchasing leads ?

Are you Phone Prospecting ?

I use many of these methods myself.

What I've been guilty of in the not so long ago past

is what many  of you are guilty of now.

Not Picking up the phone to call the leads that you developed

using all those methods listed above.

They all work and should be used but if one is not

A FULL TIME INCOME. MARK SAYS THAT MEANS

2 HOURS DAILY WITH PHONE IN HAND TALKING TO REAL PEOPLE.

Reality check eh?

Looking at the grahph you see that is true.

In both the blue and red phone prospecting is far

above the rest in what is actually working in network

marketing.

Red are the significant earners.

Are you surprised to see purchased leads one both red and blue

also at the excellent level?

I was.

Look I was naive in 2007 when I found  Mike Dillard's

systems. I actually thought that the holly grail of leads

is developing your own leads.

And it is.

Using funded proposals. Good idea.

Except for one really huge thing in network marketing.

That is not duplicatable for what are mostly new folks

coming to the network marketing indusrty.

And that's all that matters in this industry.

I have weekly leads coming in which took me 2 + years full time

to build myself out.

Can a brand new person do this?

NO.

Now I had not chosen a network marketing company yet then.

I just built out for the future and so I can say now

to leads I speak with...hey Google my name.

That's why purchased leads are still near the top of the food chain.

So while one is learning to develop their own leads

to get a quick start in your business we must buy leads.

So now we must have a way to train these folks on

PROPERLY CALLING LEADS.

Which is why I started with these folks.

The you see that the red or significant earners

also use custom web sites.

Custom web sites work better than company web

sites but they both work.

I have a friend in Nuskin that is a Blue Diamond.

Very little presence online.

But he is super successful because  the phone

is his number one tool.

Another huge surprise to me is that blogging and web 2.0

..videos , pod casts, etc.....are at the bottom of the list.

Only 17% was using these 2 methods.

I have to guess that these 2 methods are moving

up the ranks in 2011 ...but I don't know.

Looks like the only system getting the same results are print ads.

For the rest of the methods the significant earners do

much better.

Why?

THEY PRACTICE ON THE PHONE DAILY.

Look it's not even arguable when one looks at the graph.

Head and shoulders above.

So I don't know about you but I am working harder

on my phone skills again since I've been out of the game for 8 years.

And I'll be purchasing leads from these folks to now go faster.
