Why MLM Cold Calling Stinks

(phone rings)

“Hey _____________, this is ____________ and I’m calling you because the day when you can end your financial worries is here. That’s right. I’m here to tell you that the XYZ Company is now in 100 countries and counting…Our products are the best in the world and you can start making money just by…”

(hung up)

Even though we live in modern times, this same old technique known as MLM cold calling is still recommended by companies everywhere in the world.

And it stinks…

Honestly, a script is not going to make any kind of difference if you don’t understand what’s going on when you pitch your business opportunity or products like this.

What’s going on?

People are tired of this B.S. Since MLM cold calling has been around for many decades now, a “tag” has been put on those who try to recruit and/or sell like this.  This “tag” basically says. “If I have to stop doing what I’m doing right now because the phone is ringing and when I pick it up, YOU try to enroll me in something that I’m not interested, I’ll just hung up on you…And by the way, I will advice my friends and family members to do the same.”

It’s a different game now

When it comes to business and marketing, strategy is the way to win. If you already know that this “tag” has been places on those who use this kind of practices, why the hell will you still try to do it?

Just like the way you’ve probably found this article, your business opportunity and/or products can be marketed through the Internet to people who are already interested in finding:

A.  A way to make more money
B.  A particular product that solves their problem

The 1-2 move

When you tie the market’s demand to your supply, the situation becomes a win-win situation to both your client and yourself because you’re both compensated: He gets what’s he’s been desperately looking for AND the same happens to you.

There’s no need to keep recommending such an ineffective way to market like MLM cold calling because:

1.  A piece of content (like an article) about your opportunity or products can educate prospects, build a relationship with them, and sell them something that solves their problems.

2.  A targeted ad can be placed in the places where your prospects hang out so you can also educate them, build a relationship with them and ultimately help them solve their financial problems by joining your opportunity.

Times have changed…Are you doing something different?

To Your Success,

Cesar
