Question: How do I use my computer & Generate Quality Prospects? Leads I can then use to COLD-CALL ON The TELEPHONE?

Answer: Simple, follow these easy steps.

1.  Think Globally – Look Nationally

Use your computer to research local companies within your own country that rely on the Internet and Website sales. Consider what type business is experiencing growth Online right NOW. Some of these include:

  • Online Training and Educational Business
  • Online Universities and Colleges
  • Online Shopping Networks and Bazaars
  • Online Newspapers (How to Use Local Media to prospect - coming soon!)

 

2.  Online Tools Mean FAST Returns

The Internet can be a sales person’s most trusted prospecting tool. With practice you will gain valuable market research experience. Time will teach you many tricks. There are far too many Online research tools to mention. Start with these simple ideas.

  • Use http://google.com to learn all you can about potential new customers. Type in the business name you are searching for and start reading. Look for company Press Releases and news articles. Many times you will find the names and telephone numbers you need to Make A COLD CALL!
  • Use http://twellow.com to zero in on specific business in your area. Set up a FREE account. Once you are in go to the “TwillowHood” pull-down.  Find a business that has a large following (100,000+) These businesses DO much work Online. Next, Go to http://twitter.com and follow the business you are targeting. On the ‘homepage’, click on their link. Now, take a look around the Website. Look closely. 9 times out of 10 you will find a telephone number. Make A COLD CALL Now!  
  • For even more specific Website information about a business that You WANT to COLD CALL, take the Website link and enter it in at: http://alexa.com . Here you will find much needed data about Websites. Use this information to determine if a Business is really worth your time and effort. (More on the value of your time and effort to come!)

 

3.  Do What You Do…ALWAYS THINKING SALES!

 

Ask any successful Sales Professional, and they will tell you - no matter what they are doing - they are always thinking about the next sale. So, Do What You Do, but  ALWAYS Be Thinking of THE NEXT SALE. What does this mean?

  • Whether sitting in traffic or driving around town, Watch the Billboards and Ad-signs. Look for Advertisements that point at a company Website. Watch for ads saying things like “Follow us on facebook or twitter”! These businesses are Online and paying money to advertise.
  • When watching your television, Watch the Commercials! These are businesses that are paying to advertise. Pay Close Attention: Many television advertisements say “Follow us on twitter or Find us on facebook”. Go to these Websites. Look for a TELEPHONE NUMBER… Dial the number. Introduce yourself and ask for the Owner or Manager. This is how to MAKE A Cold Call.
  •  When surfing your favorite Websites,  Watch for BANNER ADS and “POP-Ups”. These are businesses that are paying to advertise Online. Odds are they have a Website. Follow the links. Look for a telephone number. Use it to MAKE ANOTHER COLD CALL!

 

And NOW…For the Fun Stuff!

As we continue building our World-Wide team of Country State Managers, I need your help! You see, this is all so new I have NO Sales Model…I need your help establishing these numbers.

Here is what I WILL NEED from you on a daily basis:

  • Number of ‘Cold Calls’ per/day
  • Number of ‘Presentations’ made per/day
  • Number of sales along with a completed order form
  • The specific reason why anyone said no after seeing the video and/or after a complete pitch.

All I ask for, a simple email every day. Send this data to me before you retire, EVERY DAY!  Monday - Friday.

 

This is a famous “truth” about human nature and “sales”:   98 % of the people prefer to find reasons why it is NOT working and 2 % just make the sales.
