#1 Secret To Close Relationships
We know for certain is that when you really listen to someone, they love you for it. The problem for most people is, they know that whoever they are talking to is only waiting for their chance to talk. That is confirmed for them when you start talking immediately when their sentence is finished.
So try this:
1. Let them finish.
2. Take a breath.
3. Talk.
When you start talking immediately, the result is often annoyance or irritation. But that short pause of a second or two after the other person finishes can make a huge difference in the way they perceive you. You aren’t just in a verbal boxing match, waiting for them to finish so you can jump in. Instead, you are … actually … listening!
People aren’t used to others who really want to hear their complete thought. It’s a big sense of relief for them, and they are likely to put a much greater value on talking with you.
And that is a great start to a strong network marketing business relationship.
No one cares how much you know ,until they know how much you care.!!!!!!!!

You Hit the Nail on the Head Alma!
Thanks for this great post Alma! There are so many people who have no clue how to listen. They even seem to think that if they listen for 30 or so seconds, then they can talk without stopping for the remainder of the conversation!
This is no way to build relationships, and you are so right about it being surprising to people when they run into someone who really is interested in listening. They are, as am I!
Thanks for being a great mentor,
Vicki
Bingo !!!
Great Point Alma !
It's Best to learn how to be a good listener if you don't already possess that quality. Remember that old commercial when EF Hutton talks people listen :-)
