6 Steps To Attract Your Warm Market

Read More: Prospecting

The world is yours but will you meet the world, with the right mindset?

It's not how many techiques, strategies or tools we have. It's the knowledge, the value, the skills we have - which makes these tools work for us.

Because, what can anything do; whether offline method or offline, than just accelerate what we have to offer, our mindset and the value we bring to the 'profitable market.'

So here's the deal...

1. Change The Mindset First
I'd like you to approach this with the mindset of bring value to your offline world. I'd like you to approach these methods with a mindset that you don't 'NEED' the warm market.

All around us is a community of families, friends, co-workers, who just clinging to survive. They so busy, kids running around - worrying on how they wish to give time to their children.

To workers who may feel used, tired, fear that the job they got maybe their last hope and it's slipping through their fingers.

Or you got a community of diverse cultures living in a city and they feel strange how they cannot even come together.

Maybe, it's a mum or dad, and they worried their son is on internet from 5pm to 11pm.

Finally, it can be a community worried about their health or their teenagers health or their bones hurt.

Look now, at the world we are in.

Full of problems. Reccession this, money this, worry that and lack of trust.

So here's what you do...

2. Go Where Your Target Markets Are
Know your targeted niche and get a big book, newsletters, whatever, on what activities, meeting groups there are in your locality.

Find out the places where they meet and choose one and be persistent.

Go there and mingle.

Ask questions and take interest in people. Forget all that prospect's stuff. Go there without the 'need' to prospect.

Ask about their life, problems and get to know your target market.

Ask what information that will help.

Ask what they have done or used. Ask what they happy or not happy with.

Go often, show your face, and when you do...

You'll know these points about your targeted prospects...

  • Your targeted prospects problems.
  • Their fears, dislikes, likes.
  • Their needs.
  • What they'll love to experience and haven't done.
  • Who is serious to pay to solve and who isn't.
  • Who is all talk, lazy and who makes decisions fast
  • The emotional language, what they read, spent on, and where!

Get to know the people and go home, and create a profile of your offline market.

This information will now give you ideas of problems to solve.

It's how we listen. Listening isn't used by just ears but also understanding.

My son always asks..

"Dad! How on earth you know what my real passion is, my dream, my fears, and what I'm going to do next."

The secret is to associate more with your targeted prospects, listen more, ask more, get to know what's in their heads, their habits, fears so you know EXACTLY what words to say, and how.

That's how I know my son inside out.

I stay quiet, observed more, asked questions and he shared his fears, thoughts without him even saying. It's a skill.

3. List the Problems and Important, Immediate Ones First.

What did you discover?

Yes, yes, the problems but something else.

It's a great feeling to be human and care, isn't it?

Feel your confidence grow a little?

Got to know more about your prospect now?

Great!

You had fun mate! You approached it like a person who cares for people and you are now going to do what most people don't do.

You're going to create a list of all the problems and in order of priority.

As you do, I want you to think this?

  • This is not about me.
  • This is long term.
  • This is about the prospects.
  • And I MUST create solution they need not what I need.

The problems can also be..

  • To feel an experience.

That's right!

The experience to be listened to. The experience to not be alone. The experience to feel special. The experience to be wanted.

So your solution can be you creating something that brings communities together, by connecting with leaders in your community - who need a leader who will take one problem and apply!

That's how we show how valuable we are - by getting KNOWN in community for listening, caring, taking action AND they begin to say this about you

__(YOUR NAME)_____is the man who knows how but he's also busy, so don't waste their time. We respect this person a lot.

__(YOUR NAME)_____ is the woman who knows where, but she's also busy, so don't waste their time. We respect this person a lot.

__(YOUR NAME)_____is the entrepreneur that can help you, but he's also busy, so don't waste their time. We respect this person a lot.

This increases our brand portfolio. It increases your visibility. It increases the strength of your presence. It radiates influence later on.

You're worth listening to!

Because...

"It's not what we say, but what the people, leaders, groups, families, newspapers, say about you, when we say sod all about ourselves!"

4. Create The Solution By Engaging Leaders Of The Group

Before creating the solution - go right to where the leaders are.

If it's a group, don't step on their toes. Go to them, spend time with them, let them get to know you and your sincerity.

Now be a leader.

Say to them, you can bring XYZ solution AND you want it to work as partners.

Look at what Newsletters they have. See how you can write articles. Heck, lead the darn thing but also edify people who have been doing the work.

Be a leader and engage the ones who have been doing the work and show they can get more from you, they'll look good and you want nothing but to bring value; and make their job easier.

5. Stay Focus And Finish What You've Started

It is easy to start with emotions and when the excitement is gone that you suddenly do something else.

New is more exciting.

But it's not going to look good on your record within the community.

Consistency matters in people's lives.

It reveals that you are...

  • Good for your word
  • You respect people's time
  • You have self respect and integrity

It reveals more than any words we say or type.

It reveals character!

So don't go mad and busy with 10 different niches.

Better to first focus on one, get good at it, get results, be known for it and increase your credibility (personal branding portfolio) in the community.

6. Combine Your Offline to Online
Now, your prospects trust you.

They see you different than most who have tried to pitch. You are more valuable. They see you write articles in their newsletter, magazines and even do workshops.

Once a week.

Everytime you do that, they see your name and under that column or article is what you do. It has your website. It has your email.

It has..

"For free ebook on how to XYZ, please visit www.YourWebsite."

It's an awesome feeling especially when the referrals come in and you don't have to pitch, and the prospects are calling you.

The phone call will go like this..

"Hi (your name), I was referred to you by an associate who talks highly of you. They said you're really busy. I need advise on health etc etc.."

Now..

Qualify by asking questions and write as much as you can down.

Free your mind from needing to convince, prove a darn thing.

  • Can the prospect explain their problem
  • Are they comitted to take action.
  • They have money or can get money.
  • Now move to the solution.

Cheers Mario

Thanks Mario.

Yes, that's the most important. Identify your market then go for it. It does take work Mario but it's worth it.

To focus on one method. Focus is the key as well, and consistency.

There's a next step I applied which links to it. So I'll post it up soon here. Its on a method I used offline, and follows through what to do to accelerate it offline.
