Are You Hungry Or Are You Needy?

There is a saying in the Network Marketing industry that it’s better to work with people who are hungry than with those who are needy, and I would tend to agree. After all, needy people tend to be desperate and whiny and stuck in a rut, always asking for help, never believing in themselves, pulling you down by their mere presence. Hungry people, on the other hand, know their worth. They know their WHY. They have the confidence needed to get things done. They help others. They provide value. They attract other hungry people. They build teams and a massive organization.

It is important to note that sometimes hunger and neediness can dwell in the same person. I know both dwell in me. Maybe you too? And sometimes it’s hard to discern from the outside looking in whether a person’s actions come from a person’s hunger to succeed or a desperate need.
