MLM Duplication, Does It Really Work?

To start, why should you follow your upline? 

If what they do work and it works for you too, then do it.

But don't buy into the idea that you categorically HAVE to follow their process because it has to be "duplicatable".<!--break-->

The industry revolves around two activities :

1) Traffic - Drive people in front of the information. Wether it's to expose your products or your business opportunity.

2) Conversion - you have to improve your ability to recruit customers and business builders. Develop your skills to convert a prospect into an interested buyer.

Some people call these two things, marketing and communication. Others say it's 

You can use personal contacts, ads in newspaper, buying leads, generating your own leads online, etc. you need to get well on those two main activities. 

If you develop your ability to create leads (traffic or marketing) and you build up your communication (conversion or communication), you are able to make fortunes.

Most teaching offered by top Network Marketing companies and heavy hitters focus on "the system". Systems are a series of steps and tools to use with a prospect.

I see a lot of training fail to clarify you the essentials behind those tools. Your strenght in communicating with your potential customer can make a giant difference between success and failure. 

Many leaders will get mad when you can't get their results. They repeat all the time "talk to more people". Or "be positive".

In fact, talking to more leads or doing affirmations will only get you more fearful of failure.

No matter what you do, you'll need to get effective at what you do.

Increase your marketing and communication performance and any system will work for you.

Don't focus on the system. By using this specific CD, sending out that mailer, promoting this website are not skills you gain knowledge of. They are parts of the system.

Of course you want to know the steps required to take with each prospect but how to use the tools is the key if you want to play in the big leagues.

Tools assits leaders. But when you look at leaders, it's rare you can replicate exactly the way they are right when you start. Most of the leaders have years of marketing or communication abilities.

Leaders have a great presence and know how to talk, they have created tactics to generate tons of leads or they have a lot of contacts.

In conclusion, systems are good but they will not make you successful without skills.
