Network Marketing Secrets – How To Get Your Prospects Leaning Forward Ready to Buy!
There’s so much to learn!
I just don’t have the time!
Can I really do this?
Will you help me?
Maybe you have heard statements like these or something similar when talking to prospects. These are legitimate questions and concerns, wouldn’t you say?
In talking to a prospective client recently, she had many concerns about signing on the dotted line. With only a few hours a week to work the business, she wanted a 1, 2, 3 step by step plan. I was grateful we could strategize with team members and draw up a feasible business plan that would fit in her life style.
There are so many ways to work a Network Marketing business. A couple years ago I arrived at the place where I was through with approaching friends and neighbors, having home meetings, entering floats in parades, passing out my business cards, etc. Maybe you have done some of the same things or worse. When I found a free system that I could work on line, I knew I’d just found gold!
Recently, I have been exposed to some great training on marketing skills that are causing me to once again re-think belly to belly marketing. I attended a Tom (Big Al) Schreiter Workshop and laughed for 3 hours listening about how learning a few skills could propel your business right over the top! If Tom (Big Al) Schreiter is in your area, be sure to attend. You will be so glad you did!
He made it sound so fun and easy schmeezy. Of course, these skills have to be worked at, developed and practiced. The specific sequence of words need to be honed and perfected so they flow off our tongue naturally.
After all we have been network marketing since we were little kids! As adults we share what we think is great to whoever will listen whether it is a awesome movie we just viewed, a great restaurant where we ate succulent shrimp, the grocery store with the best buys, our favorite TV show, our latest yummy chocolate recipe, a powerful personal development book….the list can go on and on.
The secret is to not be obnoxious but instead to get your prospect where they are leaning forward on the edge of their seat listening. The secret is learning the right things to say. His magic sequence of words worked quite well on me, as I left the workshop with his whole set of training cds under my arm. And funny thing, my friend, who at the beginning of the workshop said she wasn’t going to buy anything……..well, you guessed it…she walked out with all the training in her bag too. You can find his trainings at www.FortuneNow.com.
It’s about the skills and the confidence you develop through repetition. It helps to Master Mind with people who also practice the same ways and offer tips and ideas on how to do things better or different.
Bottom line is…….get good at a couple marketing strategies at first. When you have developed those skills take on something new. Before you know it your Network Marketing skills will be something you can share with others, touching their lives. That’s the biggest reward. It’s not always so much about what you are getting, but what you are becoming in the process.
Now get to practicing.

I would love to have a prospect lean forward
Wow, I am going try this out in my everyday activities, like when I am going shopping or picking up the kids from school. I am going to get practicing! :D
It's about more than just positive thinking...
...it's about developing the "skills of our trade" too. Those skills add the value that sets us apart from the crowd. And my reservation is already in to hear "Big Al" weave his magic at a workshop tomorrow! Can't wait!! Great post, Lynn!
MLM is way more fun when you learn the art of sales
Guys like Tom and Jim Rohn, if you don't run from the word sales, can teach all of us so much about building a business both on and offline. The principles are the same. You still have to learn to move people through a sales process without setting off alarms.
I really enjoyed reading your article. Great job !

Tom's Brillance is a must have.
Lynn, I just recently went to his workshop here in Boston, and his Sequence of Words Workshop was incredible. He does make it seem so simple, but simple and easy are earned through practice, practice, practice. Tom Big Al Schreiter is a great role model. And you are are a great role model to me. Thank you Lynn

It's All About Learning The Skills!
I was in Toronto last weekend and attended an event of "Big Al's Here is something I took away from his training: Would it be OK if I shared with you Tom "Big Al" Schreiter's Three Steps to Building any business?..... 1) Learn How to talk to people. 2) Find People to talk to.  3) Take ONLY the Volunteers
He is Awesome, if you get the chance to attend one of his events I would highly recommend your attending. He makes is all so simple...He is the BEST!!
Lynn, many Thanks for sharing : )
Tom's Training is the Best!
I've listened to several of Tom's trainings and can't get enough, repetition is the best (using the university on wheels). Online marketing is great but without these particular and necessary skills in communication it doesn't much matter how much marketing you do or how many leads you generate!
Thanks for the post Lynn!
Tom is the Best!
Thanks Lynn,
Tom's training is so simple and so effective. Thank you for sharing this article.
