The primary belief in this concept is that retention relates directly to the development of a residual. The residual focus company design is to mathematically create retention and thus increases by many factors the ability to now create a residual.

You may be asking how this explanation differs from other types of network marketing company financial focus. When you are looking at network marketing compensation plans, it is crucial that you take the time to work the numbers. Make sure that new people are compensated in such a way that they are motivated to stay beyond the fast start bonus period. Look for a plan that pays fairly across all levels, so that low and mid range people feel justly rewarded for their work. Pay attention to all the hoops. By this I mean: leg balancing, volume requirements, increased autoship as you move up the plan. All of these things are actually designed to provide breakage, taking money away from the field and sending back to the company. There are very few companies that have done away with all of this, but they are out there and they make it very simple so distributors actually recieve the money that they honestly earn.
