I posted a video and article on Better Networker stating a decision to recruit and promote for other people using a simple program. I arrived at this decree because I wanted to prove to myself that I could drive traffic, meet people online, use Web 2.0 marketing techniques, create a atmosphere where people would call me and email me wanting to join, and show a brief example of leadership and passion for what I was doing.

There is a comment on my video that I posted on Better Networker, the only comment, that leads me to a link that discusses putting crap on the Internet or on Better Networker. I did not allow that comment to persuade me to stop the project that I had started and I am glad because the results will encourage someone to get the fever to recruit for their team members.

This test or project that I have embarked upon is not crap. There are alot of sponsors out there and programs out there that inform potential customers and affiliates that they will recruit and promote once a person joins. I love those type of ads, however I wanted to put myself on the other side to see exactly how it felt and what you actually have to go through and experience when you verbalize publicly that you will recruit and promote for your team.

I took it to the next level and actually set aside 100 days to find a program and serve as a sponsor whose sole interest was to help others build a team. I chose a simple program that cost a one time low fee. I used a program that would give me the least resistance when it came time for people to join. It was a no brainer.

I put my strategy together and on May 9, 2009 and I posted an article on Better Networker titled "What I Really Think". In this article I spoke about my intent to sponsor and recruit for others by using the program I mentioned earlier in this article. Today I changed my original title and added "sponsor recruits and promotes for you as this is what I should have titled the article in May 2009.

At the time of writing the article, I posted my first 5 weeks of results and here is an excerpt from that article:
Five weeks have passed by and the team url has been hit over 800 times and presently a team of 22 people and a downline of 58 people and counting
has been built. There are individuals who have not sponsored anyone in their downline for a year so this is phenomenal news. I believe you can get these types of results all from the efforts of a team url rotator, each member utilizing advertising and marketing, spillover and spillunder and from a good system. Skeptics and people who had no hope in developing a downline or making money online have joined this program.

Before I reveal the results, I will discuss the type of people I had the pleasure of meeting while implementing this strategy of recruiting, sponsoring and promoting for others. I met:

• men who were recently unemployed
• women who were recently unemployed
• people who have been marketing offline and online for up to 13 years\people who have never joined any type of program online
• people who had no intention on marketing this program
• people who were just moved by emotion from my video to join
• people who were skeptical because they did not believe I would actually
  place someone in their downline
• people who were estatic just to get one sign up
• people who did not know how to market a business online or offline
• people who were involved in several different business opportunities
• people who I met a year ago who decided to take a peak at what I was
  doing
• people who were really eager to earn money
• people who were late on their mortgage and car payments
• people who wanted to learn how to recruit and sponsor for their team
• people who really wanted to change their financial status

I was told not to attempt to recruit for others by many people because it would be considered hand holding and not holding people accountable. I was told that I would attract people who wanted to sit on their blessed assurance. I was told that I would attract people who would not want to market the program. I was told that the program was a scam. I was told a lot of negative things however I wanted to see if it was possible for me to create a situation where I would get people to take action and follow my lead. I simply wanted to see if I could attract, recruit and meet people, place them in one of my team members downline, and to get people to sign up/opt-in to my team email communication.

I did experience the negative side of what comes with recruiting and sponsoring for others however I experienced something that was greater than the negativity. I experienced results and a fairly good response overall from the team as a whole. It probably was my mindset more importantly.

As of July 18, 2009 the following results were achieved:

• Total Downline with re-entries = 155 people
• Total Direct Referrals = 33 people
• Total Indirect Referrals placed in Direct Referrals downline = 101
• Total Direct Referrals who cycled = 10
• Total Spillunder Referrals = 8
• Total Average URL Rotator Hits for April, May, June and July = 1200 - 1500 hits

In conclusion, I did not get rich in monetary terms. I gave people who wanted to join me directly I sent them one of my team members links. Plus I did not get rich because the program investment was low. Most people did not know how to market or was not interested in marketing this program for a variety of reasons. However this experience has heightened my knowledge and has given me a strategy to implement in a systematic way.

Up until this point, I have never built a team as such online. Yes, I know there are so many others who built a list of hundreds of thousands in a short amount of time but that is not my testimony.The question that I asked myself 100 days ago was, "Is it possible for one individual to build, sponsor and recruit for other people?" The answer is yes.
