Sponsoring Your MLM Prospects That Won’t Get Off the Fence
How many times have you shared your MLM opportunity to a prospect and they seemed very interested but then they never seem to commit. They do not join but they don’t tell you no either. What is wrong with them, right?
It is important to get a yes or no out of then as soon as possible and get on with your prospecting with real potential candidates for your MLM opportunity.
First, have you gone through their objections, answered their questions, and did you get them dreaming again? If you can answer these questions with a resounding yes, then the problem is not with you but with them. I highly recommend you use the Five Questions to help in getting your prospects dreaming again.
This might be a problem with them trying to make a decision. Most people only make 2 decisions a year and your opportunity might be the third or later. So how do you get them to decide and give you a yes?
Your job is to get their dreams on the table again since they have boxed them up and slid them under their bed. And then tie your business opportunity to their dreams as the vehicle to take them to their dreams.
So, you have done all of these things and they just will not commit, what do you do? Well, this is much simpler than you think. Your job is not to convince them to enroll with your MLM business opportunity and tear it up; making them and you a ton of money. That would be nice but that is not your purpose.
What you are actually trying to do is to find the people that are actually looking for an opportunity, not for people who want more out of life but are not willing to do what it takes to get more.
So you do the best job you can in presenting your MLM business opportunity and getting them to see how your MLM business can help them to get what they want in life, then let them decide what they want to do. Did you hear me? Let them decide what they want to do. And you must keep prospecting.
Always have several prospects that are in this process of deciding knowing that some will, some won’t, and you just keep prospecting.
This is actually very important for you to set the example for your team of continually prospecting regardless of the results. You will always have good months and bad months while prospecting but just keep doing it and your team will see you and some of them will follow you in this habit of continual prospecting.
If a prospect will not get off the fence, then you just keep moving and if they really have a desire for more in life, they will follow you. Otherwise don’t worry about it. Just keep moving and in is a year you probably won’t even remember their name.
