THE POWER OF ONE

 Admittedly I have never been a student or fan of numbers.  I could never be an accountant however, I have come to a greater appreciation of the the clarity that math can give to making comparisons in exactly what is the return on investment (ROI) or how fast will my investment double (Rule of 72), and similar results from running the numbers.  

So, as a student of better understanding the network marketing profession, I recently considered the concept of the power of one. It is such a basic idea but oh it does have such a profound affecting on the outcome. I'll bet you have often heard it said that all you have to do is find someone else and then help them find someone else. So let's paint a picture of exactly how this would happen and how the power of one can affect you and your business. 

Let's say that you bring 2 people into your business and then focus on helping those 2 bring in the same - just two people each.   Then you focus on helping each of them get 2 of their own and so on and so on.  If you repeat that process a total of just four levels deep  you'll find that you have been able to grow your business to include 16 people.
 
Now let us say you focus on helping 3, just one more than your original plan.  By running the same numbers and extending it out to four levels you see that your initial three can become 81.  So over the course of the same time, you could theoretically have grown your organization to 81 instead of 16.  Now what if we take the 3 and change it to 4.  Your total people at the fourth level would be 256.  Change the 4 to 5 and you'll see the total at the fourth level is 625.  That would progress like this...16, 81, 256 and 625.  That's the amazing power of just one and how much difference it can make in your business and your success.  Crazy, isn't it.
