Tips on How To Be A Good Sponsor

I was just wanting to share some tips on how to become a good sponsor that has helped me in my endeavours along the way. This will help your downline to gain your trust and duplicate your results.
 

  • Be genuine when dealing with your team. Take the time to listen to people and what they have to say, when dealing with them. Listen twice as much as you talk, don't have the two mouths and one ear syndrome. We were given two ears for a reason. 
  • Be genuine about helping your team with their goals. Don't look at them as just another dollar to your bank account or have a take, take mentality. People can sense if you are in it just for yourself and not really trying to help them, they will know if you are just wanting them to join you because it will make you profit if they do. They can smell desperation a mile away. If you are honestly trying to help people will realise this and a trust relationship will begin to build. To get people on your site you need to be a giver of good quality time and information.
  • Give your team a work schedule. This is important as many people that are new to this business are stuck in their old routines and habits. I know this because when I started in this business I spent a lot of time wasting time and not being productive. The schedule you should give should be a daily schedule that has realistic and achievable goals to complete. Break the days into the hours you are able to spend and divide your weekly tasks amongst the days, stick to it and make sure you can complete your days work. Remember if you don't treat it like a full time job you will not see results. Ask yourself if I was employed would I have done a good days work or got myself fired?
  • Work on the relationships within your team/downline. This is one of the most important tips as your team will do as you do so lead with a good example for people to follow. Send direct emails, ring your downline, make it as personal as you can. People enjoy a personal touch every now and then, instead of receiving automated emails all the time. If you put quality time into your downline, your downline will give you quality results. Your downline is more likely to upgrade to the next level if you put the time in to helping them. Remember that your team will do as you do, sort of like children, they look to you for leadership and direction.
  • Share you best information and tips with your team. Do not hold back on giving your team the best tips for achieving results. When you team does well and becomes profitable, you also become profitable - there is a flow on effect. People will be able to tell if you are holding back on valuable information and feel like you don't really want to help them succeed. This will be a bad start to your working relationship with your team.

 
Just remember who got you to where you are today ....... your team, your customers. Without them you would not make sales and would not see the results that you have. So be the leader to others that you desire to have for yourself. Your team is an essential key to your success and can be extremely rewarding, so give it the time and care it requires.
