Top MLM Producer Secrets

What is the biggest secret of the top producers in any industry? Why is it that the top sales people seem to have an air of mystery and detachment about them? They come into the office they get straight to work, they only spend time with each other, they do what they need to do to get the job done and they leave. No time wasting and no time spent on unproductive pursuits. They are entirely focused on producing results.

I know when I first started in my first MLM business I spent hours studying the compensation plan, preparing my home office, going to every meeting, reading motivational material, reading the companies sales material and doing a thousand and one things that made me feel that I was being busy but wasn't producing any results.

What I was missing was focus; I wasn't fully focused on doing the things that brought the results I wanted, which was finding quality leads, establishing a relationship with them and introducing them to my opportunity. And today with much of our activities being done online the possibilities for distraction are even greater. The internet can be a mine field of distraction leading you off all over the place and before you know it your day is over and you haven't completed half of the tasks you where supposed to have done.

Your sole purpose in your business activities should be to produce and you should focus your time on activities which produce the outcome you are after. So if you are looking to make sales you should focus on activities which will make you sales and if you are looking to generate leads for your business you need to focus only on the activities which will actually generate those leads.

All very basic stuff, but it is surprising how easily we can be distracted and how much time we can waste on non productive activities like tidying our desks, listening to that training call one more time, checking our emails, clicking that interesting looking link, and a ton of other stuff that can take us away from what we should be doing.

Always ask yourself if the activity you are doing is producing results or not. If it is not don't wast your time doing it and find something more productive to do instead.

A great way to stay focused on your business is to write yourself a to do list at the end of every day for the following day and adhere strictly to the activities on that list. It is also a good idea to plan your working hours and stick to them so that you do not find yourself spending all day sitting in front of your computer. Remember why you decided to start your your own business in the first place.
