When To Stop Chasing Rabbits

There are many times in business when it becomes stagnant. Mine is at that place. My leads have dried up and I refuse to buy leads. I was talking to a friend of mine in the same business as me and I was talking about contacting some old leads. I have a few hundred leads in my back office, many that I have not talked to in over a year, most I have talked to several times. When I told my friend about my idea his response was "stop chasing rabbits." Tom "Big Al" Schreiter always says to only work with the volunteers. If and when these people are ready to talk to you, they will contact you. My friend suggested continuing with a "drip campaign." I have an option in my back office to send out a mass email to all my prospects at the same time. I do this a couple of times a week. This is my "drip campaign." I am refusing to chase after people, I am refusing to chase rabbits. My focus is now to get new leads, to helping others, to self development, and to come up with new ideas to kick start my business again. This is a short article but one that I believe I needed to write.

rabbit trails

Great advice. Don't get sidetracked going down a rabbit trail. Most people don't like to be chased anyway.

Email yourself from your back office. If the email is going out from "info" most people won't read it or they will go into spam. Ideally your drip list email should have a return address of "Donnie" or something that is going to put your "Name" in front of people not the infamous "info".
Check it out and you may find you get more response from your dripped file.
To your success,
