Have you survived the massive negative media campaign we have been bombarded with lately?

Why do we let ourselves be led and influenced so much by the media?

Panic and bad news sells newspapers and keeps us glued to the TV for the next breaking news stories.

STOP giving away your power, the infinite power you have to decide what you will read and listen to.

When all we are fed via the media is negative and bleak it takes a lot more work on your behalf to stay in a positive and powerful place.

My personal belief is that the media is a tool and a very powerful tool used by our political leaders to manipulated us, the world population. They use it as their advertising to either promote themselves, criticize the opposition whether it is a political party or another country to name just two.

Have you noticed how over the years the news has changed and has become more sensationalized?

Even up to 10 years ago the horror that is now shown so graphically was not there in full colour right in front of you and your children. After a natural disaster the camera zooms in close to crowds of crying wailing people in complete emotional agony because they have just lost one of their loved ones. This never ceases to amaze me why do we want to know so intimately the pain and suffering these people are feeling.

Well I have a theory on this as well! Consider this.

While you are sitting there comfortable and safe in your own home you watch this terrible suffering and you think to yourself…aren’t I lucky to be living safely where I am. Yes we are but how horrible is it to be manipulated and by others suffering to feel this.

Then on the other hand during times of economic downfall such as the world is experiencing now how do you think it is used here?

The terrible financial state of the economy is a disaster for some people who have over committed and are unable to pay on recall. Times are tough for a lot of people. We all feel for those who have lost jobs and homes this should not happen in this day and age. But why has it got to be highlighted every hour or in some instances half hourly? Again I feel it is a political ploy to control. This time the sales pitch is if you follow me I will fix it for you I will make it all better but first you have to panic and suffer.

In times of such financial upheaval would it not be a better solution to not panic people to build confidence within the communities around the world.

When everyone panics and thinks and talks negative this will empower the situation even more it will keep fuelling the fire so to speak. Sure we need to be informed (they were informed about what would happen if things continued the same) a number of years ago financial projectionists were giving the information for everyone to hear but what happened…no one listened?

Concentrate on maintaining a positive emotional state of mind. If the times call for you to change the way you think to get to the other side of the current events then change the way you think. Many people will prosper now I have heard it said that many millionaires will be created and this won’t happen to those who sit and listen to the negative flow of news each end every day on the hour.

There are many more opportunities opened to people today so maybe it is time to start thinking outside the box pushing your comfort zone a bit or a lot and do whatever it takes to stay in the game.

What today’s technology has supplied us with is a way to get factual information and use the knowledge to develop the skills we already have or like me learn completely new skills and increase our financial IQ.

We can make our own decisions we do have choices. We can choose to stand on our own two feet in our own powerful state and create our own financial future.

My intention is to empower you to pro-actively gather knowledge, take your new found knowledge and begin the change to your present mindset and behaviors that will be required to take control of your life.

Knowledge is power. This truly is the information age. You can learn something new every day. This new knowledge if used correctly can make a positive impact on our lives.

We do not have to sit idly by and believe that everything is in ruin this sort of market downturn has happened before and it will happen again. Seems to be the way growth ebbs and flows. Don’t know why it just does.
