Tell Your Reader What to Do
Intelligent copywriters DO NOT leave the prospects reactions to their ads to chance. Instead, they tell the reader exactly what is expected of them in detailed terms. Their Instructions are direct, concrete and concise.
So often we all see advertising that leaves us saying, “huh, or so what? The author of the ad has left the potential client or prospect at a loss. The reader needs clear instructions or else all the work that went into the ad is a total waste. Here are a few examples of the kinds of instructions copywriters will give to prospects that will leave no doubt about what the reader should do next.

good advice
Judy,
I agree with you that people need specific instructions. I would never be able to claim a rebate from BestBuy or wherever if the instructions were not clear and concise.
When a person is looking for help in Networking, it makes sense to be clear about the steps to take with that too.
Warmly,
