All sales professionals, especially in Network Marketing/ MLM have encountered objections from potential customers and business partners more often than we may like.

All sales professionals, especially in Network Marketing/ MLM have encountered objections from potential customers and business partners more often than we may like.
Would you be surprised to learn that you are the cause of 100% all of them?
Lets look at that more closely so you can avoid these mistakes.
Think back to the last time you heard one of these classics:
* I don't have time for this business
* I can't afford this product/service
* My spouse doesn't let me make decisions without them.
* I don't know anyone else who would want to do this.
* what I have now is already cheaper than what you're offering.
How, or more importantly, when did these objections come up?
If you were asking the right questions at the right time before you offered your solution (service/product/business)you wouldn't ever get to that point of an objection.
You must come from the stand point of a consultant who is more interested in making sure you fully understand 3 basic things about your prospective buyer before you make your offer:
1. Do they even have a problem?
You might think so, and be right but if they don't admit that out of their own mouth, don't go assuming anything.
Just because someone says, "I really hate this job!" is not your cue to start with your sales pitch. Thats why the general public say things like, "someone was trying to get me into one of those things before..."
2. Have They been looking for a change/solution?
sometimes we, all of us, complain just for the sake of being heard or understood. Not that we are really looking to change anything.
So, when you just start off offering a solution at the mere hint of a problem and get to selling and telling, your prospect isn't ready to receive what you are offering.
3. Even where the are seeking a solution, what is there level of desire to change?
We should only share our solutions with people who have a high level of desire in the present moment.
Anyone ever tell you, "I'll have my money in 2 weeks," or "As soon as I get My taxes" and you never hear from them again?
Lies. Lies, I tell you!
You have to know when the timing is right to make your offer(s). If you a having a casual conversation with someone and they don't express the right level of desire, don't mention a word about your business. The timing obviously is not right for them. resist the temptation of the 3 foot rule.
You will never hear an objection to an offer that wasn't made or one that was made at the right time.
You will also suddenly become more attractive to your potential customer/partner because you took an interest in them and their unique situation without an ulterior motive. Only making your offer when you fully understand where they are right now and where they are coming from. That's when it can be mutually beneficial.
Let me confess right now, that is one of my biggest pet peeves and I get a lot of people attracted to me and my business by allowing them to give me all the juicy details of why the last MLM amateur couldn't get their business. The last person who made there offer too soon or too strong and blew the deal for themselves.
I made these classic, avoidable blunders for years until I discovered a few teaks to my conversation and in turn my conversion rate of actual reps and customers.
