The # 1 Skill You Must Learn To Succeed

As I have progressed through my career, I have been able to master several skills that have helped me in my business.  By far the skill that has led to the greatest advances for me is copywriting.

For that reason I have invested several thousand dollars learning to master this skill and I have aligned myself with the "masters".

If you are simply using your company's site or an affiliate site (like MS) with no domain of your own with a squeeze page that then redirects to the other site and/or you aren't creating a proper sales letter or autoresponder series, not only are you leaving a ton of money on the table, but you should also stop reading this article.  Because the rest of what I am going to write only applies to those people who are using the power of copywriting to reach their success.

A good copywriter is worth his/her weight in gold.  Having the ability to sell with the written word is an amazing talent.  The most I have paid for a good sales letter is in the neighborhood of around 5,000.  I have friends who have paid around 20,000 but have gotten back a hundred times that.

For a lot of you just starting out, 5,000-20,000 is most likely not in your budget.  Even some more seasoned marketers may not have that in their budget.  The temptation is there to go cheap with your salescopy.  That is a huge mistake.  You will find a lot of people who will offer to write a sales page for a few hundred dollars.  Well that's exactly what you will get - a 500 dollar piece of junk. 

So, you have two choices.  Either find someone who is reputable and has a proven track record or learn how to master the skill yourself (even if you still pay people to do the writing, having this skill will allow you to spot good copy from bad).  If you decide to hire someone, make sure that the person is experienced with direct response marketing or even better, writing copy for the Network Marketing industry.
