The dirtiest word in MLM is still the same 4-letter word in almost any endeavor … WORK!

But did you ever stop to think why it’s called Network Marketing instead of Netlazy Marketing? There is hardly ever a free ride in life and this includes getting a free ride in Network Marketing or MLM for short.

But you probably knew all that and this short article is not about the drudgery of work in your MLM business, it is about putting the fun and excitement back into your MLM or affiliate business. There’s really a simple way to make your business one of the best experiences you will ever have. This is how to make your MLM or affiliate business fun and exciting. Pay close attention here because people make this huge mistake all the time, and that’s what makes their MLM or affiliate business so much hard work and why, inevitably, most people quit.

Imagine your MLM company’s product is manufacturing diapers. Your job is selling these new super-dooper, baby-friendly diapers to other people. You run an ad online or offline and it says something like this: “New company launch, top positions available, $10,000 possible your first month! Call Joe at 555-555-1212.” What happens? Every person who sees the ad calls just to see what the new company is. There’s only one problem with the ad. You ran the ad in Kiplinger's Retirement Report.

You beat your head against the wall trying to figure out why you can’t sign anybody up. You’ve talked to all 139 people who called on your ad and only got one person who said they’d think about it. This is what makes network marketing so much WORK! First of all, I see people trying to recruit other people who want nothing to do with the product. Next I see people trying to recruit tire-kickers. And worst yet, I see people trying to get sign-ups by trying to convince other people to join their business. So … if you want to recruit people the easy way and have fun doing it, I suggest reading the next paragraph about 10 times.

Recruit the right people! Let me say this one more time. Recruit the right people! Recruit the people who need your diapers and it won’t be recruiting at all. Recruit newlyweds who have just had a set of quintuplet babies; they need diapers! It will be fun, it will make your MLM business enjoyable. The byproduct of your business being so much fun will be more money. That’s how to take the word “work” out of your networking business. It’s called target marketing. Notice the word “work” is not in “Target Marketing.”

I have a product that virtually every person needs who is online to make money. I know my target market. Even though it is a huge market, it can be broken down into 4 categories: MLM’ers, Affiliates, Website Owners, and non-Website Owners.
