The Emotional Rollercoaster
The first week in any distribtuors business is crucial and they are like a baby chick just hatched. If they do not understand the emotional rollercoaster from the very start they could be doomed. Teach your downline this from the begininng and you will keep more people from "never getting started." The Emotional Rollercoaster
One of the things I worry about most when a new distributor signs up in my MLM is their excitement level. The thing that worries me the most is when someone new signs up and they are so excited they can't wait to share this opportunity with anything that walks and talks. You might say, "Wait, James I would love that to happen" You might be right , but everything that goes up must come down. That includes the emotions and excitement of a new distributor.
If that new distributor doesn't understand the emotional rollercoaster they might be doomed before they even get started.
You must BELIEVE that your company can make all your dreams come true! You must continually build your belief level in your company & yourself! The diagram above explains 2 things Excitement & Belief. 1. The white line depicts a distributor that starts with an excitement level of 10 because they sponsor their 1st distributor their 1st day! Then they talk with their best friend who tells them they are crazy & that this will never work for them & their excitement level drops to about a 6. Then their broke brother in law tells them that they just got scammed & their excitement level drops to a dangerous level 3. They call their Upline down in the dumps & the Upline works with the new distributor for the next few days & sponsors their 2nd distributor– HOORAY! Excitement level jumps back up to level 9 and so on.
The escalating Red Line depicts the way our BELIEF should grow as we learn more about our company by attending events & putting ourselves around the right type of people. Notice that if your belief is high, your excitement (white line) is pulled up to that level. However, also realize that when your belief stays down at level 1 (straight red line) your excitement is also pulled down with it.
CONCLUSION – YOU CANNOT BE EXCITED ABOUT SOMETHING THAT YOU DO NOT BELIEVE IN!

To Stay hot in your business you must be near the fire. The fire is any event you can be around the leaders and founders of your company. Many of my downline tell me all the time they "can't afford to attend the conference or event" and my response is always the same. "You can't afford not to"If you bought a Mcdonalds franchise for $1 million and they had a national training event would you skip it? Of course not, but since people pay under $500 for their MLM opportunity they don't treat it like the million dollar business it is. It is not a coincidence that every top earner is at every event and every conference call. How to RAISE YOUR BELIEF LEVEL:
-Attend National Convention
-Attend Regional Events
-Attend Weekly Meetinsg-Attend Weekly Conference Calls
-Stay in Contact with your upline
