The Eyes Don't See a Thing, That's the Brain's Job (My lesson out of poverty)
The power behind understanding the way that the mind actually sees can be life changing. Poverty is a powerful visual. Why? Because seeing lack thereof and accepting it (because it is not there) is very convincing... as long as you believe that seeing is the absolute truth. But the truth is that the eyes don't see a thing, the brain does.
The eyes are merely a lens, a very sophisticated camera that opens and closes according to light. Our eyes can be seen as a computer program that has not been program yet! We will see the picture once the brain interprets what it is just as we will see the finished product of our websites once we tell it what to look like through HTML coding. But the actual picture does not come from the eye itself. Pretty simple, huh? Well this implies something that once I truly understood, I went WAY down the rabbit hole and felt a burning in my chest. And it was not heartburn. It was that dam red pill! And as you know, there is not turning back.
Here is what this means:
Your eyes are not a judge of reality; they are a confirmation of it. Once your brain does get the picture, millions of neurons in your brain fire to other neurons looking for a connection, a sort of familiarity....simply put, the knowledge that you already have YOUR BRAIN SEES WHAT IT IS TAUGHT TO SEE, WHAT IT HAS BEEN PROGRAMMED TO SEE! Is it fair to say that living a life in pursuit of new knowledge be a valuable asset?
So, if you have lived a life of poverty, and choose to accept it as what you see (as the truth), and you refuse to gain and accept new knowledge that is unfamiliar, uncomfortable and impossible, then even when there are riches, opportunity, wealth, joy and happiness.....you will not be able to see it, it will be invisible. Why? Because your eyes (lens) based on shadows, light, lack thereof, angles and pattern recognitions will report its visual INTREPETATIONS from the brain, something in the form of lack..... and will COLOR that experience with it. You will see that you are a VICTIM. You see that you are POOR. You will see that you need HELP or LUCK (because it was the only way to prosper). You will feel SICKNESS, INCAPABILITIES and WEAKNESS You will see.........fill in the blank!
In conclusion, how to gain wealth can be simply put: TRAIN YOUR BRAIN TO SEE WHAT OTHERS WOULD INSIST IS NOT THERE. TRAIN IT TO SEE WHAT YOU WANT, NOT WHAT YOU DON'T WANT!!
If you can do this, your picture changes and so does your life!
Much prosperity and wealth!
