The Greatest Networker In The World

The other day I was at my son's soccer game when my phone started ringing.  I picked it up and the voice on the other line said "Hi Chuck, it's John Fogg calling".  I guess I was a little out of it (it was early) and thinking it was someone trying to sell me something, I said "John, what's this in regards to?".  There was a slight pause and then John said "I think you and I have a lot of ideas in common and I have been following the free marketing series you are doing right now.  I think the messages from my book still ring true 16 years later and are in line with what you are doing".

I think it was then that my brain woke up and I realized that I was talking with John Milton Fogg, the author of the book "The Greatest Networker in the World" which has sold over a million copies, been read by over 3 million people worldwide and is still one of the best selling books on network marketing today.

Thankfully I recover nicely and despite my original cluelessness, I was able to convince John that there was value in talking with me for over 30 minutes as we talked about the state of Network Marketing (both past and present), people we both admire and the paths our lives had gone over the past 20 years.  I had read the book 10 plus years ago and it was very instrumental in my early MLM success, so having the chance to have a conversation with its author was a huge treat for me.  The man is definitely one of Network Marketing's legends and given the chance to hear him speak, you should not miss it.

I am very good at persuasion and was able to persuade John to speak to my listeners this coming Tuesday (4/29).  I want to open this up to the MS Community as well, because it's not everyday that you get to hear someone of John's caliber speak for free.

I don't know about you, but I have never sold over 1 million of anything, so hearing someone who has done it will be a huge thrill.  Yes, we will talk about the book (how could we not ?), but don't think for one second that we will be spending our time together doing an infomercial for the book.  In fact, I am going to give everyone who registers for the call a free copy of the book.  John has spent the last 20 years or so helping people succeed in the industry and that is what we are going to focus on.
