The Importance of Duplication in Network Marketing
When being a copy cat is a good thing.
Duplication - the act of copying.
A simple definition that is not often that simple when applied to network marketing. If we were machines or computers it would work just fine. Humans on the other hand, do not respond so well. Network Marketing is all about duplication. When someone gets started in network marketing, that person is told to literally follow the leader. Guess what, not all leaders are true leaders and not all leaders are easy to follow.
So what does the new network marketer do? He does what all successful network marketers have done in the past. Start at the bottom and work your way up to the top. One must crawl before one can walk. I wish I can give you the short cut version to success, but there is no such thing. Part of the fun of network marketing is the journey.
Duplication will have to be determined by your trial and error, self learning and most of all having a legitimate mentor or coach. I, for one, can say that though I don’t always agree with what my upline or leaders may say, I am in favor of listening to and duplicating from a leader or upline who has achieved a substantial ranking in the company. Of course there are exception to the rule and I highly recommend you do your own research. I guess what I am saying is, not all leaders are going to lead you astray.
For the new network marketer I would recommend using the “SPONGE” philosophy. Become a 2 year old again and soak up as much information as possible . What may not make sense today will make sense in the future(trust me). What I have learned and will share with you is that there are what I call network marketing norms or standards. These norms or standards, according to the gospel of “TheMLMRescuer“, should be automatically included in your network marketing library of information. They are not in any particular order and are available for your viewing pleasure. Look at them and decide for yourself.

Great article. I would suggest one thing though. If you want to make a million dollars in your business, I suggest talking to the people who actually made a million dollars. Not just one though, speak to a lot of them. Take all their information, experience, and advice and try to implement their techniques.
You obviously wouldn't ask someone who's only made $200 how to make a million dollars... or would you?

AS long as your leader is duplicating the right way and teaching you to do the same then things are great but when you get someone that decides to go a different way it can throw your entire organization off even if your doing it right. Watch you downline, if they go astray jump in there and fix it!
