The Moment You Realize That You Know 'Enough' For Right Now

This is something I've discussed with clients and other marketers many times.
It's regarding the moment you realize that you know 'enough' for right now.

A lot of people get into a trap of buying ebook after ebook and course after course looking for the 'magic' formula to success.

Not to sound harsh but I honestly believe some of it stems from laziness. We think this online stuff should be easy... after all, isn't that exactly what some websites actually tell us? It's so easy a child could do it- it does all the work for you- all those claims and promises and hype. So we continue to search in vain for the easy formula. Meanwhile we're doing nothing to build our business. ( but then again, hey that's what the website claimed I had to do right? nothing!)

Until that 'aha' moment- the day we realize,  that we already know how to build our business and be successful. We're just not 'acting' on it.

I've seen people who have spent 1000s of dollars looking for the magic formula. But they never find it. Why? Because there isn't one. Or when one emerges it doesn't last long; the market becomes saturated with people running after the opportunity and overnight the opportunity loses it's power.

That's why I think it is so important to hang out in forums, and social communities like Better Networker- read all the stuff out there, what others are saying. This will help you to  separate yourself from the hype and noise.  Then choose a path that is suited to YOU.

After you've decided what path is best, then maybe buy a few eBooks or tools related to that path... But commit to it and don't be distracted because you see everyone else running to the New Big Thing.

Someone is always going to be selling you something online- it's the name of the game. They will all convince you it's the next best thing, there will never be an end to someone selling you some awesome how to guide, software, or some cool 'whatcha ma callit'.

I'm not saying don't buy 'anything'. I am saying focus on a specific area and get to work. Don't get bogged down by purchasing every new info product or course that comes along... This will never stop. There will always be new products to google over...

You need to know when to stop. It's a bit of an addiction, but admitting you have a problem is the first step :)

So take a look at what you have. Take a look at yourself and make a decision to start acting. Start putting your money into your business instead of info products. You'll be amazed at the results.

wE book....on Down the Road!! LOL

Bravo Bravo!!, The crowd shouted, in thunderous applause.  And Rhonda looked up amazed, for she knew she was going out on a limb with her speech, but she was compelled to speak the truth!

So hereI sit, still cheering vocally, and I would be clapping wildly, if I could type with my toes!  LOL  So much truth in what you said, even beyond what you said.  E Books, magic formulars: don't look now but that is already obsolete technologies.  As usual the top dogs know what's breaking out, but those in the trenches will be left wondering what went wrong.  Keep us posted Rhonda you are a world a fire!!

Very true, the magic formula

Very true, the magic formula is yourself.  However a lot of ebooks out there are good to educate yourself to become a better person.  Hence a better formula.

Consistency

Great info-

It is definitely putting what you know into consistent action.  You can know everything about a certain subject but you don't really show what you know until you implement it.

I agree about the laziness.  There are so many people out there that would be successful if they just put the energy into money making activities as they put into their next class or ebook.

I love personal development and think it is very important but you can definitely go overboard on it.

To your success,

Jen

Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for all the great feedback. That's one of those types of articles you never know how it's going to be perceived.

There is an abudance of great training material out there- problem is that for some newbies they just get paralyzed with information overload.
