The Power of Healing Through Laughter

Read More: Personal Development  |  Positive Thinking

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” is a 2,000 year old biblical prescription that holds true today.  We all have proven to ourselves that laughter and humor lighten the everyday stresses and gives renewed energy to continue on.  This phenomenon has been scientifically validated through many recent studies that have been concluded that laughter is a “miracle drug” and has no negative side effects.

Laughter has both psychological and physiological positive affects that:

•    Lower levels of stress hormones
•    Lessens depression and improves mood
•    Stimulates an increase in the activity of defensive immune cells, including T-cells, that attack and kill tumor cells and viruses
•    Boosts the activity of antibodies that defend the body against harmful organisms
•    Steps up the production of interferon a hormone that fights viruses and regulates cell growth
•    Reduces blood pressure and heart rate
•    Improves sleep
•    Reduces muscle tension, aches and pain

Gift yourself and your loved ones with a daily laugh.

We all need to be reminded to lighten up and see the humor in life’s situations, even in our businesses.

Enjoy your day!

Laughter is definitely the best medicine!

It doesn't matter how upset I might be, all I have to do is spend some time playing with my daughter and the whole world seems right again. She's a little comedian and I always end up in stitches when I play with her.

Most people talk about how their kids cause their stress... my daughter is my stress relief because she always has me laughing.

Laughter Is Letting-Go Pure

Laughter is probably the most funny way of Letting Go. Accepting what IS. Pure Solution. Thank's a lot for pointing out this core subject of life. All blessings, all success  *INGO* :-))
