The REAL Reason the Giants Won, and What It Means to MLM...
It takes more than talent to win the biggest game of the year…or win in your network marketing business...
Living in NY and following the Giants through out the season (their training camp is even in Albany :-) ) I got to see the events unfold 1 week at a time…
The REAL reason the Giants won isn’t just because they decided to pull together and work as a team… it wasn’t just their talent or a little luck…
What I saw at the beginning of the year was a team divided. Tiki Barber left the Giants and retired; he went on TV saying that "blah blah Coughlin s*cks and Eli is not a leader... blah blah... and that his hopes of the team were shot..."
The week that the team stopped talking about how it was this persons fault or that person’s… if Coughlin was a good enough coach, and if Eli had a leadership problem…
And what I saw over the course of the last 4 months was a team ban together and stick behind their coach... put faith and trust in their Quarterback... encourage and uplift their teammates...
The moment that they began to UPLIFT and ENCOURAGE each other is the REAL moment they became Champions… When they began to SPEAK the right words… THAT is when things started to come together…
They fed off of each other’s enthusiasm and confidence, and that confidence carried them through the biggest games of their lives…
Edification, uplifting, encouragement... it sounds like a network marketing team doesn't it? Positive thinking... speaking what you want, not what you have... raising eachother's belief levels...
The Giants won not because they were 'better' than the Patriots... They won because they had a relentless, unwavering pursuit of greatness... they won because they believed in eachother... And just like Strahan said in the post-game interview, they had the CONFIDENCE they needed to beat the best team in NFL history...
And to see the tears in Burress's eyes after the game that he caught the winning TD pass in... to see how emotional he was... It just reminded me that if I keep pursuing my business goals, that one day my upline is going to raise my arm on stage as a true Champion... that one day I'd get my "Superbowl trophy" in network marketing... that one day I would have a stadium full of not just fans and downline... but people that I'm inspiring to live better lives... to live the life of their dreams...
I hope everyone in network marketing can share this vision too...
