The Right Attitude Can Mean The Difference Between Failure and Success
Have you ever been asked to create something only to think that you really bombed or failed at that attempt?
Not even a small failure has the power to harm a solid reputation. Taking responsibility for your own actions and mistakes encourages people to trust you and work through challenges. They will remember you for how helpful you were doing the process more than the failed attempt itself.
If you have a solid reputation, it gives you a distinct advantage that can be duplicated. Take personal responsibility for your actions: both positive and negative.
1. Realize you don't have to get it right every time. You are allowed to experiment to build your business. Successful people overcome mistakes and learn from them. Always present yourself and your business in a positive light no matter your current level of success.
2. Take the High Road. Build a good reputation. Just know that others are going to disagree with you. When you find yourself in a negative situation, be honest, and try to come up with a workable solution. Do not attemmpt to sit there and do nothing to solve the problem. This only encourages others to work against you and not with you.
3. Value People's Time. Set an agenda for every conversation and stick with it. Every interaction you have, will affect your relationships with others whether you realize it or not. If you are known as someone who values other people's time and have solutions to problems, you are going to become the "go-to" person. People will be seeking you.
4. Give Others the Opportunity to Comment About You. What better way to run a business than to have the compliments and recommendations of those you have served? Be willing to acept praise and provide opportunities for others to comment on your passion and commitment. Offer sincere appreciation for other people's contributions. This earns you respect.
Share your knowledge and spend time with trustworty people. Establishing good, long-term freindships with these friends, mentors and colleagues allows you to remain on firm ground. This in turn builds your reputation as an honest, hardworking entrepeneur.

One of the biggest hurdles I am overcoming is what others are thinking of me. Consequently I have to get everything right ar they may think I'm stupid. The 30 day Mental cleanse is a big help. Its none of my business what others are thinking but it is my business what I am thinking. Great article!

Great Piece
Then again all your peices are great. Attitude, beliefs, conviction, perseverance; etc. Sure thing Dianne, I really believ they are the foundation successful people build on. The learning curve too many people get caught up in, is so solveable, if they have belief in the system, the products and their up line!!
