The Scroll Marked VI

I recently wrote an article about being proactive and in it I described what it meant to be proactive. A proactive person is not governed by his/her emotions.

I just returned to one of my favorite books of all times, The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino.  This little book is a classic and must read for anyone who sells anything including themselves. The chapter titled “The Scroll Market VI” is on this exact subject.

Mandino begins the chapter, “Today I will be master of my emotions….”

Isn’t it great when you have an idea on your mind and then everywhere you turn that idea is reaffirmed from another source?
 
There are a lot of things in the network marketing industry that can stir our emotions. We need to guard them and keep them in check. Do not let yourself get too high or too low. Be steady and remember you are building a business and in any business there will be triumphs and failures.
