Probably not, most of the people we meet don't know what we
even do to earn a living. I belive that in life you are your
best advertisement. In the things you do and how well others
think of you. I have been a custom cabinet maker for over30
years and I have never placed an add anywhere. All of my
business comes from word of mouth advertiseing.
This bussniess is like any other bussiness if you do a good job
or have a good product you will have plenty of customers looking
for you. That is what we are looking for a lot of good friends
and people that want to be around us. I look at working with
someone in bussiness as if I was going to have to go on a 30 day
vacation with that person. If I can't go with someone for 30 days
why do I want them in my bussiness that I will have to work with
them for ever. Just my thoughts for the day.

Personal reputation takes a long time to aquire. So we must be careful in what we promote to others whether it be a business or product. We would not want to ruin our reputation because we did not take the time to make sure what we are promoting has true value to others,

If you won't go on a 30 day cruise with them do not put them into Business with you you will be sorry

Love your thought for the day! It's funny because I was thinking this very same thing today because I've been so frustrated with my business. I was thinking, I DO NOT want to beg people to join me. I want people to come to me because they want what I have to offer!

I find too that I can get myself in the wrong mental space if I start thinking about the people that HAVEN'T joined or stayed or worked etc etc etc. It is at that time that I pull my thoughts back into alignment--and retell myself that "I am the CEO of my own business and am looking for a couple of VP's to work with me". I like the analogy of if you won't spend a 30 day vacation with someone, then don't get them into your business..that is so so true :) You really find out a lot about people when you work with them--more of what they DO, and listen less to what they SAY THEY DO.
