Time Saving Tips for Network Marketers

Read More: Discipline  |  Personal Development

One of the biggest challenges we all face as we build our Network Marketing businesses, is that of time management.  So naturally, anytime we can find a short cut or a more efficient way to perform those routine tasks, we are buying ourselves more time to do the more meaningful things of life.  You know, the reason why network marketing looked so attractive to you in the first place.

One might start by inquiring of someone who has achieved a high level in your particular business.  They are the ones who seem to be everywhere all at the same time. They are conducting conference calls, doing trainings, doing three-way calls with your interested prospects, and spending time with their own families

The answer; they add principled thinking to all their tasks. They constantly look for ways to streamline all aspects of their business, all the way from answering common questions during a presentation, which saves the presenter time at the end of the presentation, to the simplist of  everyday tasks such as answering e-mail.

By streamlining the way we check our e-mail, one can literally, add two productive days to your month.   For example, it is not uncommon for the busy business builder to check e-mail 100 times in a given week.  Lets say it takes you 5 minutes every time you click away from your current task, check your e-mail for new items, reply to a couple pressing ones, not to mention clicking over to our other accounts to make sure we have not missed anything.

As you return to your previous activity and try to regain your train of thought you have spent the 5 minutes easily.  Now multiply that 5 minutes by 100 and you come up with  500 minutes in a weeks time just checking e-mail.  Thats a little over 8 hours a week or just over 36 hours per month!  That is almost 2 full days that could be devoted to other  things that you want to do!

So the recommendation is to learn how to focus your energy on a set time frame to to check e-mail.  Pick a time that will best suit your needs, but use that time only for emails.  This will eliminate the jumping back and forth which takes up your productive time.

In answering e-mail, only use pertinent information and stay focused.  Don't bog your recipient down with unnecessary information.  Not only will this save your time, but it saves time for the receiver

Now think how much time can be saved spread out across your entire team if every one is duplicating amd streamlining their business. There is one thing for certain, everyone has the same 24 hours in a day and time is the one thing we can't make more of.  But we can learn to use that 24 hours wisely by learning tips from successful people so you can begin to own your own life!

Yes, Thanks for the reminder Kevin...

I can just see myself spending two days a month checking email, but little by little, it all adds up and robs us of our most valued possession, time.

Keep up the great work!
