TRAINER NEEDS TO BE TRAINED

Too often you hear, "Get your prospects in, sign 'em up and let's start making money."  Well, that sounds good, but is it?

How does someone bring you into a business, who doesn't know much about the business and wants you to rely on upline for any questions about the business.  This is a huge mistake when enrolling newbies to the network marketing industry.

Educating yourself and being "informed" about whatever product or service you are selling, representing, etc., etc. is key to your success.  Prospects are not attracted to you if you fudge and guess at their inquiries.  They want solid information in order to make an educated decision.

Learn about your product/service, the company's management and their support center.  Everything sounds terrific and everyone is excited in the "prospecting" stage....but what happens when there is an issue?  Is there a support center/customer service center available to you for immediate responses?  Are you trained in the process of what to do if there is an issue?

Becoming involved in a network marketing/MLM/Direct Sales company is taking ownership of a new business....YOUR new business.  Treat it like a business -- not a hobby.  Be sure the company has enough training tools and resources for the "jump start" into your new venture.

We always say, "you're in business for yourself, but not by yourself"...but how untrue this statement is at times.  Your brought into the business, filled with excitement and hung out to dry.  Why?  Because the person who brought you in is NOT trained and is pumped to start bringing in more prospects and building their downline.  This is alot more successful when you are TRAINED and know what you are talking about...sharing that wealth of information with your new "team member" and helping them become a success.

In my experience with network marketing for 10+ years (on/off), I have found that you being TRAINED prepares you for becoming a TRAINER.  Everyone wins and the true definition of TEAM is accomplished.  TEAM -- Together Everyone Achieves More.  Good luck!
