OK I am not sure about the rest of you guys and girls but
I have a very serious question. That I am hope I will get
some answers to  with this article.

1. If these people offering these programs have perfected
a way to become successful in any business why are they
selling this information instead of using it to become
wealthy in there business.

2. They all say they want to help others learn how to make
money and they show all of this money they have made. Is
that money they made in there business or is that money
they have gotten from people that want to learn how to make
money. To me if they wanted to help someone they would not
charge so much for there information.

3. You see in my opinion if are making all of there money
on selling information how is that going to help me in my
primary business. I don't see how it can help me at all.
If I want to know what works I am going to go to someone
that is actually building a down line. Right now and working
everyday in a MLM and being very successful in it. The best
part this man gives free training and has 10 live free training
calls a week.

So which would you rather do spend your hard earned money on
information that may or may not help you in your present
business, or find someone that is willing to help you figure
out how to become successful for free. The choice is yours I
vote for free anytime. If I don't like the free information I
don't have to use it but I am not out anything but a little
time. I normally always gain enough valuable information to
make it worth my time investment.

Spot On James!

You hit the nail on the head.  That is why I joined Mentoring For Free.  Others don't believe in FREE so they are the naysayers.  I can tell you that Michael Dlhouy saved me years of failure and frustration.  I did not want to spend another dime building up someone else's "affiliate program" that was building their database and not mine.

Good article James.  Keep up the good work.

I Never found the Answer to that

The Closest answer I can think of Is they want to Charge you to Learn how to Surf from them.  You need to buy Your Ticket to Alaska 1st in the Middle of Winter And When you get there you find out they do not know how to Surf  and are afraid of the Water.  Then they want to teach you how to find someother schmuck who wants to learn to Surf too and Sell him the same Trip to Hell.  That does not sound like fun to me.  We Teach you how to Surf in Hawaii and we are not afraid of the water. That is what I am talking About.  do not go down the Hole of Affiliate Programs They will Frezze your kahoonas off.  Juanita Waterman

I'll go with FREE being taught by someone who's actually doing what I want to do anyday...

Sure beats being charged for something that's not duplicatable and that I can't earn a living with, or retire at, with a residual income.

I dont' think I could've put it better myself!

With all the free information available here on the internet let alone on betternetworker, I still don't understand why anyone would spend their hard earned cash on this kind of information.

I know I felt bad about it when I did it years ago then to find it find it was all available here!

It's amazing what people will spend their money on to make themselves think they're actually purchasing something of value

It's all about money

For the most part those that have been unable to successfully build a marketing network. They have found the secerete to selling information about building a business. many of them merrly take other peoples success and establish a program based on that success.

Why do people pay when the info is available for free?

I think people pay because they (want to) attach value to it - 'free' can often be misread as 'cheap' or 'crap'.

Secondly, for many noobies it's overwhelming, trying to make sense of the sheer volume and diversity of advice.... and people will pay for help to navigate this.
